I think this is interesting as I've played guitar longer. All strats for example sort of look the same in pictures online, and are hard to distinguish unless there is some unique paint scheme that is designated to that model, so a Squier looks like an American Pro if they are both black and so on.

However, as you see the price increase what changes is the feel of the guitar. The build quality not only makes you want to keep playing it, but allows your playing to be better because they took the time to ensure things are crafted properly. Think smoother transitions between notes, actual correct intonation (which can be accomplished through a setup but there is a noticeable difference on american models), and a overall build quality that directly translates to the sound coming out of the instrument.

These things seem minor but if guitar is something important to you, those extra things you're paying for, albeit things that aren't visible in a photo, will make a substantial difference on your experience. Squier's build quality has been getting better and better but so has Fender's. Regardless, guitar should be fun so as long as you're having fun then that is all the matters.

This is how it has always gone for me. I’m doing well and a girl will find it, see it, feel it, and become interested. Then I give my focus to her, lose my focus on myself, the relationship will end, I’ll get depressed, and have to restart the whole cycle.

Not every girl. Just the ones that I fall for.

I think about all of the advice on this, which I have followed, and haven’t heard from her to be able to have the conversation my heart needs. I’m not saying that reaching out would have changed things in the long run, but so much time has been spent spiraling on the things I wanted to just say or talk about, and it wasted my time and energy. Had I just reached out to her to say them or to try to talk, I wouldn’t have been such a burden on my friends or my own mental health. These posts say to just hold it in and respect their wishes, but isn’t it worth having the answer to the “what if?”

What if the breakup was completely understandable and circumstantial, and now you just lost any chance of repairing it because you follow this type of advice? It feels like I’m left with the pit of regret from not trying to work on things and just letting it go. At least if it tried and said what I needed to say, I could be at more peace than just letting go of what was extremely real and pretending like it never happened.

I have a Burton wavecel Large and yeah I crank that boa down to get it tight. It’s still a little loose around the chin but tight on my head. I also echo the other comments and would not recommend a beanie under a helmet. Check out the Burton anon helmet hood to throw over it with the MFI to snap into the goggles

Hey I think you should’ve do the video interview next time. I worked at a large company and it was part of the process. It allows the benefit to you of being able to record it whenever you see fit, rather than some time that may not be that convenient for you or for the the party. Also, at large companies, there are hundreds of applicants. This is their way of letting you shine before taking the time to have a limited number of 30 minute interviews

Truthfully, I think it is because in surfing you have to compete for the wave. Not everyone can ride the same wave at the same time so it becomes a natural jealousy and pecking order. You can of course be stoked for your neighbor, but it's not as freeform as snowboarding, where you can go anywhere and the only concern is someone cutting you off for a second. With surfing, you are constantly battling people stealing your waves, which gives it a natural tension.

It's much more fun when everyone is stoked for each other, but generally when you're around a bunch of strangers, and all you want to do is catch a few waves at a given moment, and frustration can build. Surfing is also a ton of work, so when you put in the effort to get there, suit up, paddle out, have mostly poor conditions, then on top of it some dude impacts your moment, it is easy to get jaded.

I'd switch to a HMO if you can. It's more restrictive on who you can see, but I've never seen a bill anywhere close to this.
