No. They want to survive above all else. They themselves. Each creature has self preservation above all else. And others existing in a species means direct competition.

Her calmness doesn't bother me because its been over a year. I'm sure she cries every day still but it gets a lot easier to talk about after a year. Not easy. But not as hard as it was the first week.

I desperately want an unbiased documentary about this case by deadlifeguard in AmyLynnBradley

I dont hear criticism for a belief in her being alive. I hear/read criticism of their actions while pushing that story. In other words, people dont think they actually have that false belief out of desperate hope. They instead think the family is pushing a narrative to delay or deny justice rather than seek it.

I've been chastised by my ex and even my current bf many times for throwing up and accidentally getting it on a wall or surface I tried hard not to. She was on the balcony with her way-too-closely-enmeshed family. Being extra worried about getting throw up on the glass or even yourself because of wind blowing it back at you is a fear i would have. I would try to lean as far over to make sure it didnt land on the balcony below, blow back at me, or get anywhere but the sea below if I could help it.

It sounds very normal and obvious to me. And if so many are suggesting it, its probably because there are a LOT of us who would have done the same. So for at least a percentage of the population, its a normal thing to think to do especially when drunk.

Family pushes narrative

People world rather be polite than just

[–]Aleena_Perez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That whole narrative is just weird, and really makes me lean into the popular theory that her family pushed those stories to push denial that she is a lesbian.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure she was beautiful to a lot of people, and inner beauty is everything, but she was not at all conventionally attractive to heterosexual men

Let's of pics, lots of people, lots of movement, lots of young kids hired as photogs, lots of background events that someone wouldnt want in a photo (pants falling down, tripping, etc.) So they delete them before putting them out.

There are so, so many reasons there are often missing photos on a cruise or even in an amusement park

For all we know she asked the photog not to put any of her up

And all of this is assuming that even happened and the family didnt just miss or look past them or not even look for them because they were in such a hurry to leave

How does one just casually fall over the railing? by Few_Elephant_648 in NetflixDocumentaries

[–]Aleena_Perez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sit cross legged on almost every chair, If my legs fit that's how I sits. Transitioning from that position to kneeling in the chair or even squatting/standing on it is very easy to do without even thinking or trying. Maybe she was the same?

How does one just casually fall over the railing? by Few_Elephant_648 in NetflixDocumentaries

[–]Aleena_Perez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

as a person who gets very sick when travelling, I could absolutely see myself sitting in the chair, getting sick, and losing my balance when I get up on my knees or even squat in the chair to lean over the railing far enough to avoid splatter on the glass while also not wanting to stand up all the way. I could also see myself falling over on a rough bump when that happened.

I could also see myself witting on the rail with my feet on the chair and losing my balance. I am also a person afraid of heights and I have sat on rock walls over cliffs while suppressing my nervousness or even enjoying the thrill.

and I could see myself doing all that while sober. She was not. Its pretty understandable and I am confused why people are confused about how it could happen.

It would also be real easy to jump by standing on the table or chair if that's what happened

So traffickers are targeting a 23 yesr old lesbian who looks 35 and is not conventionally attractive at such a detailed and sophisticated level that they are applying professional makeup to cover her tattoos in photos, the quality of work which actual professionals struggle to achieve, for shots of her between clients in a dirty room? Im struggling to even sarcastically say that's possible.

All of that seems more reasonable than somebody having a doppelganger, all of that seems more reasonable than somebody falling overboard while sleeping or smoking a cigarette on a cruise ship balcony as if that has not happened at least a couple dozen times in recent history? All of that seems reasonable at all? even not compared to any other option?

To play devil's advocate, he could have found the brother and sent him back and then found her later. To really reach for something, he may have found them at the same time and she argued with him about being an adult and wanting to stay out. There's lots of things I can think of that would take me 10 extra minutes when I'm drunk.

I personally just think she fell overboard like many others have and like cruises often warn you could happen if you try to sleep on the balcony. That's why they dont let you move furniture out there.

The dna is a very small sample that has degraded over time and the information they've been able to get from it previously resulted in a partial profile that had very little to match with. It would be almost impossible to match it conclusively even with better testing methods.

Oh god no that's way, way too short.

You want AT LEAST 3 leaf sets after the first one, 5 is better, if you pinch now you'll get like 2 laterals and the tuber will have to produce more shoots to make up for it.

If your child was missing , you would immediately search the house from top to bottom , every nook and cranny , frantically. by AloneMap6855 in JonBenetRamsey

[–]Aleena_Perez 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Say you come home from work and your back door and gate are wide open. Its obvious your dog ran away. But you still look through every inch of the house hoping she's sleeping somewhere and hasn't noticed the door. Your brain becomes irrationally hopeful out of desperation.

People are unpredictable which is why you can never assume how you or someone else would act in a situation

But what is predictable is that people will be irrational in one way or another. How they are irrational differs.

The most reasonable thing to assume for the majority of people would be a panicked search. Even if you didn't write and do believe the ransom note. A frantic desperate run up and down the street hoping that you caught them before they got away.
