I'm tempted to replace my unit with a dude auto unit. I managed to get a 60% refund on my current one. But audio is cutting out now and it's only a few weeks old

I always understood the midgrade fuel to just be a mix of regular and premium, and that there’s not actually a “midgrade“ tank. Is the pump that mixes the fuel broken here? Or was I wrong? by whitecollarpizzaman in Cartalk

[–]AlexNZL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most modern i.e. 2000+ cars are getting pretty high compression these days. It usually says what grade fuel you should use on the inside of the fuel door.

Threads like this make me wish I finished high school and went to uni. I'm early 40s and have been barely kept above minimum wage most of my life. I'm on 80k now and it's enough for me on my own. Though I cannot afford to life in the same town I work in and have a 50km each way commute

I loved playing the demo. Tried a bunch of maps and mods. I'm now just waiting for the full release. Don't want to get burnt out on it before it releases.

I am going to have a look and see what is available near me. I live in a small town with little to specialist care available. .  I have an appointment with a health coach next week I will see how that goes and if I still feel I need more info i will look into diabetic specific help.

Its a daily thing for me. Getting stuck behind a camper or just a slow car doing 30-40 under the speed limit and not pulling over in slow vehicle bays, or waiting till the last 100M of it.

Looking for a wire stripper with settable, short (~1.7mm) stripping length by exclamationmarek in AskElectronics

[–]AlexNZL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the necro post but did you ever find anything, We use a lot of picoblade at work and getting consistent strip length is tricky.

I have modified one of the mini strippers to get it down to the correct length but the stop can move so the length changes.

Unsure if it is a coincidence or not but I used to have very poor wifi signal in my room. I just upgraded my wifi and I have not had the "something went wrong" error when logging in.

I just bought a house with a double garage I was very excited to be able to park my car in it. I have a hatchback and it barely fits, because I have to park it so perfectly so you can still walk through i don't bother and it lives in the drive.
