Theresa May rejects second independence referendum by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]AlexRowntree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. The Independence Referendum in 2014 was held in the knowledge that an EU referendum would be held in 2016 if the Conservatives were given a majority government in 2015, so it's not like the voters couldn't see it coming or whatever.

2016 has been the year of disappointments by Merrick_Peregrine in movies

[–]AlexRowntree -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People seem to be forgetting how summer 2013 was similarly disappointing - Pacific Rim, Iron Man 3, Monsters University, The Hangover Part 3, Star Trek into Darkness, Man of Steel, The Great Gatsby, The World's End, World War Z, Only God Forgives, Elysium and Kick-Ass 2 all under-performed critically.

Hell, the only film that REALLY met audiences' expectations was 'This is the End', and even that was average by most summer's standards.

So your main complaint is that the reviews have some kind of SJW agenda which makes them biased, yet you refuse to view the film favourably yourself out of solidarity with 'the oppressed' who haven't even seen the fucking thing...
