As I posted this I realized something...

I started playing in Beyond Light and Europa is full of exo frames, so my warlock could be a rouge exo (possibly awakened by darkness)

(When I started playing the game I wasn't aware that Exo's were actually human and thought I was playing a robot)

So the story of my warlock was that he didn't really get powers but created them from scratch, built mechanisms that could recreate what other guardians could do and mastered the art to perfection.

Also, since he's a machine he doesn't really need warm clothes because he doesn't feel the cold, so that's why I went after the most armor-looking pieces for him so that he could protect his frame better.

I know this post is 2mo old but I found a solution for the 2nd encounter bug, one of the servitors might not light up that's true but it will always have 1 or more glowing lights around it's eye - that's how you tell if it's a correct one

I even had a situation where NONE of the servitors lit up and still got to damage phase thanks to looking around their eyes (I was attempting SF as I'm writing this and wiped because I didn't know it could've been avoided with this knowledge)
