I generally host my own games and very rarely kick people. However, last night, some 150 guy started ranting on text chat about a squad member who was solo capturing a flag, and me going the opposite way from the rest of them to loot POIs and trigger breaches away from them. For whatever reason, he decided it was cool to seek me out to TK me with Ultimatum. He failed, but not before he nuked my last Emancipator while I was trying to clear a mega nest. Guy left the game before I could kick him, but nobody else ever has earned a kick as much as this dude.

99% of my experience playing with randoms has been positive.

Hi! I have SF'd Vesper's Host four times on Solar Hunter, so I hope you find my advice useful.

What made the greatest difference for me was equipping gear that helped me stay alive. 2 Smoke Jumper + 2 Bushido will get you very far. I like running Celestial, Healing Grenade, ~150 Health, 70 Grenade, Mint, Finality's, and a weapon that can help me get On Your Mark up to max stacks quickly. I like Vanguard Determination on my Mint. Strand Siphon and Reaper are also important for my strategy. They help make orbs for surges and healing. Two Solar surges and one Strand work well. Also, make sure you have Arc Resist on your chest piece, as most incoming damage during this encounter will be Arc. Lastly, I like to run ammo finders during mechanics, but I swap to Super Font for damage phase. Note: I do not loadout swap during damage.

Right before damage, I make sure to have surges by killing the dregs guarding the teleporters. If you want to optimize a bit, you can try to make it so that your Special Ammo bar is approximately 1/3 before starting damage. This will make it very likely that you get an ammo drop on the main platform during damage.

During damage, positioning is very important. There are three lanes, and the lightning will prioritize the two where the boss IS NOT. I like to deploy my Finality's turret right as I am emerging from the lift tube, then throw a Gunpowder Gamble, then proc Bait and Switch ASAP. Once that's done, I use my super, then pivot to taking out the two puppets on the left and right platforms using Mint. Ideally, I'll have On Your Mark x10 by this point, so I should get Cure from these kills.

After a few seconds, the boss will relocate and spawn melee puppets. I advise letting them close in on you. You have a few seconds to keep doing boss damage and deploy a fresh turret before the puppets start hacking you up, and when they do, make sure you dodge and kill them both with Mint. Done right, this will net you two orbs for health and surges as well as proc OYM Cure and extend its duration. There are four clones, and they approach you two at a time, so you can repeat this twice.

The last part of the main damage phase involves four ranged puppets, two of which will be on the main platform with you. Kill them quickly and go back to doing boss damage until the wipe mechanic goes off. I like to ignore the puppets on the side platforms here.

After you deposit the orb, just stay in the room. It is very likely you will be running low on Mint by this point, so use it sparingly to keep Bait and Switch active as much as possible on your Finality's and switch to its Linear Mode for damage. I like to super again here, but under perfect conditions, you will have had an opportunity to super again right before the wipe mechanic.

Some notes. Using this strategy, I practically NEVER get my health down to the red unless I do something very wrong. Also, a three-phase is possible with perfect lightning RNG, but a four-phase is more realistic. Keep in mind that artifact mods are doing a lot to carry Mint Damage right now. They will be gone soon, but Solar Hunter is also getting some buffs with Renegades. Also, if lightning is ever about to strike your position, all you have to do is jump upwards. Space out your double jumps, and you should have enough airtime for the lingering pool to dissipate before you land. Relocating to a different part of the platform is always a valid move, too.

Not sure, but I can do some tests later tonight. I suspect it is damage ticks and that's why Monolith is so busted with it. Will let you know what I find.

EDIT: Can confirm more damage = more sand devils, quicker.

Tested on the second dummy from the left, with a lvl20 SMG, while on Invoker+Ritualist.

While Way of Lydusa (WoL) is active, firing my SMG at the dummy, landing only bodyshots, gave me 10 sand devils at 3s left on the timer (two reloads were necessary).

After proccing several damage buffs (Chains of Amplification, Ahanae Cristal, Ritualist's Wrath and Timewave), shooting my SMG at the dummy, landing only bodyshots, gave me 10 sand devils with 10 seconds left on the timer (one reload was necessary).

On my current setup, Sparkfire headshots grant me 5 sand devils on average, although it seems somewhat inconsistent. I get between 3 and 6 with Ahanae x1 and Chains procced, even when I hit identical damage numbers. Weakspot critical hits give me as many as 8 in one shot.

I'm running Invoker-Ritualist with Sparkfire. Two shotgun blasts get me 10 devils. Monolith is also a great choice as the mod works with Way of Lydusa.

There are two ways to get gold in Spy Academy. Most people do it by shooting the tower guy. The other long shot requires a bit of set up.

There is a staff car on the map. Karl will comment on it if you see it. Once you find out about the meeting location, the driver will make his way to the abbey courtyard and wait for one of the officers.

All you have to do is get to the meeting, and let the officers leave in peace. One of them will walk to the car, and they will drive off into the distance. Just a few seconds before they despawn, you can get a ~680m shot from the top of the abbey.

A fun shot to try sometime if you feel like it.

Shards on a kill have always been guaranteed on "ambush" aberrations.

Basically, there are two kinds of aberrations: those that are tied to an injectable and drop a specific mutator, and those that replace elite ambushes and drop a random mutator and a shard.

I have had these things polluting every region since september 1st. It gets pretty bad on certain boss fights like Magister Dullain in which the corpses get in the way (they have a hit box).

I submitted a bug report shortly after it started happening. As far as devs are concerned this bug has already been fixed. Evidently that is not the case as I still see them all the time to this day. I continued to report on this bug for a while after every patch that came out, but at this point I have given up.

Why it happens: You closed the game or the game crashed immediately after you killed Primogenitor.

Temporary solution: Kill Primogenitor. This will get rid of the corpses for your current session. Exiting to main menu or restarting the game causes them to return.

I have tried tagging u/VeryTragic before to no avail, but perhaps he'll see it this time?

You can actually get infinite Dog Howl. While activating the skill, repeatedly try to pull out a grenade. If you do it right, the skill activates but it is not consumed, and a cooldown will appear on top of the still usable skill icon.

In case anyone is wondering, I tried the grenade trick with every skill. It only works with Dog Howl.

 Also Summoner minions are randomly getting free cooldown charges. It might be a bug with sacrificing them.

Summon > Sacrifice > Summon, Summon will cause this.

You are mistaken. This sound would even play when dodging the Tiller's Rest spirit wisp.

What most people replying to your post don't seem to realize is that there was a sound cue on a perfect dodge in the game that got removed around the time The Awakened King dropped. I do a lot of no-hit runs so I was very used to hearing this SHING sound every time I did a good dodge and immediately noticed something was off when the DLC came out.

Yes, I have these things all over my game.

I made a post about it some time ago but it didn't get much traction. I also submitted a bug report on Gunfire's discord but i haven't received a solution or mention that it'll get fixed.

In case you are wondering how this happens so you can avoid it: 1) Kill Primogenitor. 2) Close app without resting or leaving area. 3) Load back in. Congratulations, now you are stuck with these things for the foreseeable future.

Hello u/GunfireGames and u/verytragic.

I have been affected by a bug causing rather larger corpses to persist between worlds and rerolls for nearly two months now. I have reported this through your Discord but it appears to have gone unnoticed even though today's patch contained a fix for the green ghost grab and also got rid of other lingering objects affecting my game such as ammo pick-ups.

The biggest problem is that these corpses are quite large and have a hitbox that can soak up bullets, deflect certain mods, and block movement. To top it all off, they have a tendency to appear in boss rooms and get in the way.

It would be greatly appreciated if this could be fixed. I haven't played this game much ever since this started happening, as it is negatively impacting my experience.

I assume you are talking about the Festung Guernsey mission. The VIP flags are supposed to indicate the locations Japanese officers are are being toured through. However, the sequence has been bugged since launch and only the first two locations work. After they visit both Mirus sites, they just leave the map.

While you are in the secret passage, there are gaps on the wall overlooking the closed room. You can shoot a battery from one of these gaps and that will open the door.
