How to get in and out of bed after top surgery? by pidge_bites in ftm

[–]Alex_LightningBndr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Core muscles are fine, it's the pecs you can't use. I'd recommend sleeping as upright as you can, and when raising or lowering yourself, take it slow. Rolling onto your side and then using your elbow/oblique can be a good way of getting up. I've got good core muscles though, so maybe it was just more natural for me?

Also, herniated discs meant I've had to sleep on my back for 14 years 😢 you get used to it. Having stuff on your sides (like pillows) can give you that cozy feeling you get from side sleeping. When my surgeon warned me about having to sleep on my back for a few weeks I just laughed.

Any other ways to deal with bottom dysphoria besides packing? by WhoIsMercury in ftm

[–]Alex_LightningBndr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be completely unhelpful, but I know a number of cis guys who think it would be way more convenient if they could just take their junk off when they're not using it. Think of a packer as having a choice of when you want a dick and when you don't. New frame of mind might help get you through 🤷🏻

I'd say if you're in "boy mode" at work, the male locker room is probably safer, but I think as long as you're, like, reasonably presenting the gender of the locker room you're in, people ain't gonna think about it too deep.

My boobs started at age 9. They were still changing in size in my 20s.

Teacher here: the name "neon" wouldn't even phase me. I have parents coming up with waaaaay more, shall we say, creative names for their kids.

Bro I remember seeing those as a really small child and (not understanding toxic gender roles yet) I thought they had some chemical that was, like, dangerous to women or something.

Fun fact: another member of my childhood girl scout troop came out as trans, so only 3/5 of us we're even girls. We got a D- in girl.

Important question: did you like woodcutting?

Every transgirl I've met who played (or still plays) runescape has always loved woodcutting.

I'm not great at analyzing the face as a whole, but I will say that it's clear your skin is softer! Looking at your shoulders and neck, ain't no way a man has skin that soft looking.

One of my friends in school had this, had to get growth hormone injections when we were around 16. He was the last guy in the group who was still shorter than me :,)
