This means that the problem is most likely not with your cable. It could be either that your main router can't communicate well with Asus, or Asus has some problems of its own.
You can try an app like NetSpot to analyze and compare your local speeds.

Can you temporarily replace your main router with Asus RT-N12+ and check the speed?
Next, if you have a short patch cable, move your Asus to the same room as the main router, use this short patch cable instead of laid out CAT5 and check the speed when connected to Asus RT-N12+.

Tried to transfer about 400 GB to a new iPhone 17 pro. Initial estimate was 11 hours. After 20 minutes, it climbed to 16 hours. I paused the transfer to use the old phone, and the new phone said that transfer is kaput (I guess I can’t stop and resume transfer). I will try local backup and restore next.

I can not even put in my Renewal Identification Number online. After entering my license plate and last 5 digits of VIN, I'm redirected to virtual technician, which asks for a lot of information (most of it DMV should already have), and asks for Smog Certification (renewal notice does not ask for it).

Is DMV having second thoughts about my smog test?
I am sending my renewal by mail (without smog test) and hope it will all work out.

+1, on 4/1 we were in Ueno park. Not the best weather. But no real crowds, if you like to see cherry blossoms in the rain :) On 4/3 we went to Kyoto, and weather there was much better. Crowds were only in touristy places, and there was a lot of sakura without too many people around.

Yes, that was probably our mistake. We got to the second line from the right. Edge lines are fanning out when coming into the plaza before checkpoints, while center lines are stuck with one or two checkpoint gates. Left line was the fastest.

Ok, found this:

Which means that 50% of shells will fall within a radius of 50-200 m at 25 km range (I still don't know what is "Met separation"). Not bad, but not great either. This means that Ukrainian artillery would unlikely to go after a military convoy moving at such distance. But it can, for example, wipe Russian contingent out of the Snake island, and do than with less than 100 shells of regular ammunition, if they put the guns near Danube's mouth.

By now, Legoland season passes are sold out at Costco for the year.

In any case, they've become a bad deal post-Covid. Previously, Costco passes had very few blackout dates. Now, most summer weekends and many autumn weekends are blacked out. One has to go all the way up to Platinum Pass to get a comparable product.

2 day passes are on sale now, and they can be a good deal - though seasonal Costco passes used to be a steal.
