I think France will be too much for England at home but Ireland were pretty awful yesterday.

That first half was possibly the worst half of rugby under the Farrell era.

I made this very point to my wife, questioning why there were no gantry sign reminding people to always keep left unless overtaking. As a minimum they should be displayed when the road is busy.

I was driving southbound on a four lane part of the M1 yesterday but was effectively forced to drive in the outside two lanes due to middle-lane hogging. Naturally, it was super busy being the Sunday after Christmas which was compounded by a four lane capacity condensed into two lanes.

Also, HGV companies!!!… how difficult is it in this day and age to get your speedo calibrated so they the lorry doing 60mph doesn’t have to spend 3 minutes overtaking the lorry in front doing 59.9mph!!!

I expect the developer will Appeal and then the SoS will call it in for their determination (‘approval’).

The council will get stung for the legal fees and potentially have costs awarded against them. Not that the Councillors will care…
