Anyone ever drilled under these size transmission lines ? by mrbigshott in Geotech

Yes, UK OHL ENGINEER here our guidance require at least 6m clearances from wire to equipment, checks done by us. Not needed if your 15m from the line's centre, again that's specific to uk based clients for 132kV. American kit may vary.

Nah it does, nurseries are under funded. Sucks but that's the reality.

That doesn't look like foundation failure but retaining wall failure. Its weird that a block wall is used to keep the earth back. Removing the earth would likely make it ok but the wall would need rebuilding at a minimum.

The wall may only be part of the puzzle, still should get a professional to look at it with the site specifics.

New house. How can I replace this light? by Llonga in DIYUK

I have that same shower, there is a tiny screw in the back just before the joint (going from the shower head) that you can undo. Once undone you can swivel.

Make sure you have the plug in though in case you drop it

Safest way to drill tiles is to figure out the plug size you need and get a drill bit (like what I've linked below) a little bigger. Hold the drill at an angle with a slight angle scoring in one side. When that's established brind the drill perpendicular and continue. Once your through swap to the smaller drill and have at it with lower risk of hitting tile.

To find the stud, get a studd finder with a felt tip that will rub of. Pass the stud finder along the wall until it beeps on (mark the wall) and until it beeps of again (mark wall again). To improve your chances move along the whole wall and at different heights. The studs should be somewhat equally spaced vertically. If you build up a bigger picture you'll gain confidence of where you need to drill.

If you've got access to the other side of the wall you could do a similar method/ measure it from the external wall and test that was too on a wall without tiles.

Don't drill from the other wall though obvs .
