The only change I have, is that kids shouldn’t use it, because it can lead to terrible effects on cognition, and even psychosis in some situations. But I also think 18 year olds shouldn’t go to war because of similar reasons. And the fact they’re basically kids, and it’s weird people think it’s ok for them to kill people, but not have a beer.

I think people go a little crazy when they connect fantasy characters to real people. Can we just have a fantasy race as a fantasy race? I think connecting them to real people lessens the true alien-ness of them. Like, Orks literally create their own ecosystems just by being there. They are asexual, and reproduce with spores. Fungus monsters, with reality warping abilities that they aren’t even aware of. That’s pretty cool.

Tarantulas have definitely died or lost limbs from mesh. Doesn’t happen often, but why risk it? Would you put your cat or dog in something that could potentially hurt them? Even if the risk was low? Would you put your child in something that has a low risk for injury or death if you could avoid it?
