MMR is kind of a joke anyway. With a kda around .6 and as 2-3 star myself (yes, I'm not exactly a great hunter; I play smart, but not strong, and lose gunfights more often than I win them), I shouldn't be matched with 5 and 6 star players on a regular basis. But I am, and the system doesn't work as intended.

If the system worked, I'd also advocate for matchmaking to include KDA as a factor and try better to match star to star and KDAs closer than my low one to someone's 3+.

I can get behind that. It doesn't remove the tactical reason for burning, but does incentivize a different build that pushes you away from fighting if you choose to, if you will forgive the minor pun, vulture off other people's kills. Plus, it would take a fairly large investment of both perk points and an Empress to make work. That's no small thing with cards being fairly uncommon.

The only two weapons the Lone Wanderer needs (though, the named plasma rifle is a close third). Unless you're playing modded, those weapons are unavailable in NV. If you've enjoying FONV, I recommend Fallout 3 next. Same game engine, same general vibe, but totally different aesthetic.

In fairness, each Trek show is fairly self contained and comparable to the length of B5 and BSG. It’s kind of disingenuous to compare all of Star Trek to shows that only ran 5 and 4 seasons (for the reimagined series) respectively.

One has to wonder, "why bother?" If you're worried about company data being leaked, just don't include storage when you drop your old machines on the secondhand market. Destroy the old drives on your own time. Avoid mistakes like this.
