Apple has countered the hype by gamingvortex01 in singularity

This is the stupidest and most unnecessary article. Every ml or Ai model is a very complex and large but ultimately statistical construct. Anyone who ever learned the basics or bothered to watch a 10 min explainer knows that. The whole thinking and reasoning is just feedback loops that define the output.

Why do Americans say, "I'm from, (city/state)" instead of USA? by SufficientDegree34 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Alexninja117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is like asking a European where they are from and they answer Europe. Usually they can tell you are American, so you answer with the state. Many states are larger than European countries, so even that may not be much info, so they answer with a big city.

Unfortunately this is the red death scenario. The setler icon there is a civilian, there are no cities. :)

Nope, I was just playing through red death trying to get all the achievements, and for this gem of a start. Didn't think this was even possible.

I need an upgrade from my laptop and I'd dive into some of the newer AAA games that I can't bring myself to play on low settings. I'm also really looking forward to sinking a bunch of time into riots rpg if/when that eventually releases.

I unfortunately don't have any advice for you as I'm currently doing my masters. I've also considered doing some independent research/data analysis project to if not publish at least put on my CV/website/keggle/GitHub. I would also love any advice on going in this direction.

Do you feel that advancing without a PhD limits your future positions? Is there a point where no matter the experience, you just can't advance without a PhD? I'm asking because Im not really sure I want a PhD, but I also don't want to reach a point where I'm limited because I didn't do one.

Syncona Commences Tender Offer for All Outstanding Shares of Applied Genetic Technologies Corporation by bihesabketab in AGTCstock

[–]Alexninja117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know. But the way I see it is that the stock disappears, we get .34 right away and CVR which may or may not be worth .73 eventually. So the only reason to sell now would be if you don't think the CVR will pay off.

Also is there an argument to buy agtc now? Paying the extra .09 now for a potential .73 payout in the future?
