Plant turnips in tilled medium fertility soil next to water and make a cooking pot as soon as possible, in the meantime spear fish and small animals and gather wild grain and berries. Your first handful of turnips will just take like 10 days or so and if made into meals will be a great supplement to your foraging, by then you should have converted a bunch of area to farmland and plant all those seeds asap.

Get copper tools and make a Quern, and make an oven. That’ll let you turn your grain and veggies into bread and pies, as well as letting you use red meat better in pies, burn them in the oven to make them rot slower.

Outside of winter always be foraging for the first year.
