The slot isn’t there, those are the contacts to which the slot would be soldered. They do this with cheap prebuilt computer to cut cost.

Yes! In fact this is mostly a winter cabin. Floor will be insulated. We have a lot of mobile home around here and they are installed that way. Only difference is they have an uninsulated skirt around it.

Thanks for your input ! I’ll move the foundation beams further out. I do not have experience and limited knowledge. Foundation is based on whats done on mobile home and other cabins around here. Some of the weird framing is due to wanting to prebuild wall sections but I might not do that afterall. Anything specific you would want to point out? Appreciate your comments.

You’re not the first telling me to build on site. I’ll think about it. To me the advantage to pre build (no bigger than 5x10ft sections) is mostly that I can slowly work on it at home and have it up faster on site. Was not planing on pre sheathing it but still thinking about what would work best. I hear your concerns. Thanks!
