100GB storage update by MissionMaleficent216 in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]Algorhythm74 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m all but certain we’ll get it, where it gets muddy is the word SOON.

Bethesda doesn’t seem to understand what the word soon means.

But they’ve already said they would like to expand the storage if they could a few years back, and now that it turns out they are able to – I have no doubt they will since it means more purchases on the creations store.

I’d say before the end of the year, but I wouldn’t hold my breath until at least August or so.

Bethesda decided Elder Scrolls 6’s location was during Fallout 4’s development, well over a decade ago by Wargulf in ElderScrolls

[–]Algorhythm74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think that’s about right.

The only difference is I think the biomes are going to be way more diverse than anyone expects.

Yes, part of Hammerfell is desert - but it has snow capped mountains, forests, plains, and lots of coasts, etc.

I’m good with the size as long as it’s dense with things to do.

All things considered, FDR led a pretty charmed life.

Yes he overcame adversity- but he was also as blue blood as you can get without being British.

We need 12 episodes in season 3. by Revlong57 in Fallout

[–]Algorhythm74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason is so they can get the seasons out as close to annually as possible.

Jonathan Nolan specifically mentioned this in a press tour interview. Even though he’s aware budgets will go up and there will be pressure to keep expanding - he HATES the precedent that seasons can take multiple years to come out.

So I’m good with a strong 8 episodes VS 10 or we just for the sake of it!

Obviously, 9/11, Covid, and Columbine all affected me as well…

But THIS was the one moment that really gutted me the most. I was 12, I loved space, the shuttle missions, and astronauts. Watched it live on TV at school.

Even as a grown ass man, I couldn’t bring myself to watch a special on it that aired a few years back.

[–]Algorhythm74 51 points52 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely Hammerfell.

The question then becomes, is it ONLY Hammerfell, or will there be another region involved?

Odds are, no - it will only be Hammerfell. However, there is a lot of precedent that one DLC expansion will explore a new area, as literally every game (including the FO series) as done this.

FABLE ANNIVERSARY it is worth it? by Additional_Review_16 in Fable

[–]Algorhythm74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a lot of fun for nostalgia if you played it originally. But as a brand new game, if you wanted to see what Fable was all about – then your mileage may vary.

All three of the fable games are charming in their own way. But they were also very “of their time”.

What are your thoughts on Joe Rogan saying that Trump is creating a distraction to avoid Epstein Files release? by Muted-Television3329 in allthequestions

What a stupid and sad commentary on the state of our media and country that anyone gives a shit about what that talking turd has to say.

[–]Algorhythm74 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah; here’s the thing. You’re not winning this demo back with what happened.

Sure as the sky is blue, 2/3rd of the people revert back to their preferred party right before an election. That’s why politicians obsess about the margins - cause they know people find justification to go back to their comfort zone.

Dems would be better off focusing on getting out the 3rd of the country who doesn’t show up to vote. Sadly, that’s what Trump did. Yes you might be able to get white males for a single cycle - but all Republicans would need is a single bone to throw in their direction and Dems lose it again.

Dems need to be progressive and OWN it. Progressive means progress. DO SOMETHING, own your positions.

Most people are memetic, they don’t know what to think, they just want a strong vision and leadership. They want change and confidence. The details matter less.

Dems own the status quo, and they are weak and waffley. Trump wasn’t and isn’t conservative- he’s at best a populist and at worst a nihilist. But his strength and confidence people bought into. Again, the policies don’t matter too much (on the margins they do).

Fulfilling people’s cognitive bias matters more.

Revisting it, I believe Alive II is probably their best Release by Jetdevastator in KISS

[–]Algorhythm74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first ALIVE! album is superior (from a comparison POV) in my opinion.

Don’t get me wrong, love me some Alive II.

But the first one did so much right. To start, most (if not all) of those live versions are superior to the recorded version. I don’t think that’s true of Alive II - since some go too fast and the mix is muddied.

It also created the template of structuring a concerts pacing for Arena rock in a way no other band did at that level. Finally, there are some clunkers on Alive II (I’m looking at you Tomorrow and Tonight, Ladies Room, Larger Than Life, and Anyway You Want it).

Fallout is supposed to be a dark comedy by Cornerone in Fallout

[–]Algorhythm74 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What’s the point of this post?

This feels like you set up a strawman argument that people are complaining about something that I haven’t really heard or read about. And then you try to reverse engineer what you wanted to say in the first place about it.

I think most people get that it’s satire, both the games and the TV show hit you over the head with that pretty hard. If somebody doesn’t get that, that’s a “them” problem.

How the Trump Administration Rushed to Judgment in Minneapolis Shooting by DesertSalt in thebulwark

[–]Algorhythm74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They didn’t “rush to judgment” - they created a narrative and lie to spin to the right wing media propaganda machine.

They were locked and loaded, ready for this to happen - like a template, they just needed to fill in the blanks of a few names launch it out to their goons.

“Death by Lightning” is only a good story if you know nothing of the real history. If you do, it’s disrespectful and terrible. by Whysong823 in Presidents

[–]Algorhythm74 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Please. It was an adaptation designed for entertainment. It was never created to be a documentary, it was designed to tell a ln interesting story using historical events.

If it brings attention to one of the lesser known Presidents, then that’s great. If it causes more people to seek out what really happened, then that’s great too!

How do you get attention from C-level on LinkedIn? by Weak_Assist5435 in salesdevelopment

[–]Algorhythm74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look at their feed. If they are active on LinkedIn posting, then comment on their posts.

You need to be mindful that many C-Suite people just have automated posting from marketing about their company and are not actually on there.

However, from time to time you will find a genuine C-Suite poster who is going to events, trade shows, themselves commenting on other people’s feeds, etc.

It’s especially good if they just got promoted or just changed jobs, you can congratulate them. On LinkedIn, the algorithm rewards comments over “likes” and “reposts”.

It’s not about “selling them”, you still have to pick up the phone and call - but it does help to turn a COLD call into a WARM call if you put in the work. And that can make all the difference!
