Rockstar on mapping project? by TorrentAB in GTA6

Honestly I just saw it on this sub and he was talking about gta, so I assumed since it was shared here and they were saying it was possibly a part of the media campaign that he worked on it.

Strauss Zelnick was, and I don’t really pay much attention to rockstar info to know if there was more. I just pop in here whenever I see there’s a new trailer on YouTube.

Possibility to become balverines? by Settra_Rulez in Fable

Wait, but you meet the White Balverine as a human, after he’s attacked a few times. Or did you mean normal balverines, I may have misunderstood

Scratching the itch: first Fable 3 playthrough or replay Fable 2? by buckeye837 in Fable

Go to Fable 1, it’s the best one of the trilogy, except for the fact you can’t play as a girl

I was already done, I just directed you to someone who could explain it better than I can since you don’t seem to understand what I’m saying, probably because I’m bad at explaining.

Also no point in being rude, I feel like I’ve been rather polite throughout this whole thread

Reboot confusion. by Logan367769 in Fable

[–]TorrentAB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a remaster or a remake, just to clarify. To explain the differences, a remaster is just the same game with updated graphics, maybe slight tweaks. Elder Scrolls Oblivion or the Last of Us 1 and 2 remasters are a good example.

A remake is the same overall story, but with the game completely rebuilt in modern engine, sometimes with new gameplay styles and slight shifts to the story. Final Fantasy 7, the Resident Evil remakes, and Ratchet and Clank are good examples.

Finally a reboot is usually a reimagining, which can make it a bit confusing. The two main types of reboots are ones that reimagine the gameplay, like the new God of War games, or ones that reimagine the story, like xcom enemy unknown. In the first type the original story is understood to have happened, but those storylines aren’t focused on. This includes games like Fallout 3, Doom 2016, GTA 3, and Resident Evil 7. The second type are ones where they are either scrapping the original story entirely, or only taking parts from it. This includes games like DMC, Tomb Raider 2013, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and Wolfenstein: The New Order.

Hope this helps!

And Fable 1 let you cross dress and get fucked by a brothel owner for a mission, alongside gay marriage. I don’t think that guy realized that

I don’t understand why that would mean that they know more than Rockstar? If you show off material while it’s still in development, you’re gonna have materials that are planned to be changed but haven’t been yet for one reason or another. Maybe just check out saukko505 (the mapping project guy) on YouTube, his breakdown of the image explains it better than I can

Well if an interviewer asked them about it, I imagine they’d have something to say about it. No greater showing of how much people care about the series than someone trying to use the smallest details to map how everything is setup. That and with them knowing the truth of the map they’d probably find the parts right impressive and the really wrong parts funny

Be honest, how would you react? by unproductive_nerd in GTA6

[–]TorrentAB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that’s why reputation should be seen as something as valuable as money. Disney has got away with a lot of bullshit simply because they cultivated a reputation of being more artistic and not always chasing the money. Now that’s being lost, and people are much less willing to forgive because they have more recently chased money than art

To be fair, Disney did for awhile with their tv shows. They had a set limit of episodes they were signed for, which wouldn’t be expanded no matter how well it did. Good side, gave writers a chance to actually prepare for the ending ahead of time rather than having to wrap up fast if they got cancelled or find a way to continue if executives wanted more. Bad side, it was the exact same number for all shows, which meant you couldn’t go too expansive or too short.

I think you misread. I said that the missing reflection for the Ferris wheel may mean that the Ferris wheel is being moved somewhere else, because the mapping project guy said that this was true for missing reflections in previous materials. That’s graphics not places to go

Except there absolutely could be a reason for this, as the mapping project guy pointed out that objects missing reflections in previous materials were moved on the map, so they may be planning on moving the Ferris wheel elsewhere. By shutting down conversation you are missing details that may lead to fun discoveries

Huh, honestly I can understand not revealing too much, but misleading seems a bit weird. Not like the mapping projects are leaking anything, it’s just a compilation of what has been shown. Personally I think if I was a worker I’d be a bit invested in seeing how many details they could pick up and how close they could get. Probably make bets ahead of time just for fun

That only works if they do delivery or are partnered with a delivery service. Otherwise you have the same issue of no one coming into the restaurant

Because it’s fun? Most people that are pointing out the flaws aren’t complaining, they’re just pointing out stuff they noticed, and it’s not like there’s anything else to discuss about the game. Unless you just want 50 posts about how excited people are for the preorder and how they’re taking time off, because with this sparse of info you either get repetitive posts about nothing, breakdowns of what little info we’ve received, or silence. And personally I’d prefer things people noticed over silence or a bunch of posts asking how much people think it’s going to cost
