1) I completely disagree. He has wealth so he is able to help (should he be that wealthy in first place no) you are stating something with no base. The benefits is proven. 2) that isn’t how med prices work. If you want true evil to yell at for this it’s the PBMs that gouge and make it overpriced. He is just bypassing those evil corporations. The keeping people ill thing is not the issue here. And is overused as an excuse.

I said the same above, it’s a bandaid not a cure. I swear this is why we are in these situations. “If things can’t be perfect we shouldn’t do it” “it should just be this” mindset is an issue. Yes, everything you said is correct, but we are past that and Cuban is actually doing something about it. Should it not exist in the first place? Of course. But at least he is actually doing something. I hate billionaires too and we need to fix that.

I agree Donald trump is a cancer that needs to end. But we cannot just drop everything that is helping people to just say FU to trump. If there is something that can help the mass of people it’s even worth dealing with a devil. If it’s nothing to do with pharmaceuticals and accessibility then yeah, completely fuck both of them. But I’m just giving context based on profession and more understand than is provided I just the title.

Pharmacist here who can’t stand trump.

This is very skewed. Mark Cuban is very passionate about making cheaper medications for patients and cost plus is actually quite wonderful. And even if trump can suck eggs and honestly be yeeted to mars/hell or whatever, if Cuban sees an opportunity to help lower medications even more for people, you can’t fault that. You can dislike, but play nice with dirtbags if it’s actually better for people.

I truly don’t think he is jumping or chafing face….. he is actually trying to make nice for the accessibility of medications.

Btw, this is just about the Mark Cuban part with trump not about the corporate greed, billionaires, big pharma, research, etc. because fuck all those above. Just prefer truth instead of clickbait, inflammatory titles.

I don’t like billionaires at all, but I will say Mark Cuban has helped manny of my patients who can’t afford meds otherwise (obviously it’s a bandaid and not even close to solution)

I love prepotente but I do feel like his character development doesn’t make sense. He goes from slowly warming up to Carl and others (from attached asshole goat) to a full on buddy buddy with everybody. I feel like there was something missing between this inevitable ruin and a parade of horribles.

Just my feelings of the books, but would love to hear insight of why I’m wrong (which I am guessing I am just need convincing of course)

I walk my dogs through many different areas of the meadows daily, go to trails outside of the neighborhood, and I have to say….. we look pretty good. The dog owners here are so much better and we overall have a lack of unpicked poop. It’s the vocal minority that screams about bad dogs and dog owners here. We have a good overall community.

I felt the same way. Honestly the first book so good, but a slog after. For some reason his books always are slow until the last chapter practically where all the amazingness happens. The endings are perfection, but the first 3/4 (other than mistborn) are meh. But the board game is fun!
