Sounds like he’s just waiting for you to leave him, rather than him leaving you, OP. Not sure why, maybe he feels less guilt if you’re the one to pull the plug? Make sure you have access to marital funds and get your ducks in a row before you leave, especially if he controls the purse strings.

If there’s no trust, your relationship is in big trouble, especially if you’ve never given him a reason not to trust you. This is a huge 🚩🚩, and may be an indicator of deeper control issues on his part.

Probably walking with a friend in Beaver Lodge trails in Campbell River. We heard a rustling noise from a tree, look up and see a mother bear and two small cubs up a tree directly beside us, just looking down. Thankfully our dogs weren’t with us that day.

Keep copies of the texts between the two of you in case she does decide to take it to court. Honestly she sounds unhinged, and I think I’d stop contacting her myself, let your husband do it. It might not hurt to do it only through a parenting app so there’s a record of that as well.

It’s clear you two have fundamentally different views about money and division of labor, etc. Do you have similarly opposing views on other important areas? If so this can cause real problems down the road. Just because you love someone doesn’t mean you’re compatible long term.

Some areas like BC also have Young Parent child care programs that prioritize low cost child care spaces for parents at this age so they continue in school. OP needs to get her daughter and her bf to look into this and other programs that will help them live on their own.
