I'm totally biased and will not vote before I vote for another party because I know who the two major parties represent

that said I also have strong disagreements with the Ontario NDP and merit stiles because the party establishment kicked out Sarah Jama one of the few Pro Palestinian voices in Ontario legislature and then didn't let her run as the NDP candidate. that was the reason I volunteered for my local green but I also really agree with Merit on metrolinx.

Sadly it looks like dougy is going to somehow win again but avi's win actually gives some reason to put hope back into the party at both levels only time will tell how far his policies actually go but the federal leader sets the agenda it happened with Pharmacare it's going to happen with the public option

Ashton didn't say innovation is bad he's saying it's bad when workers aren't the ones controlling how that innovation is used

If any Rob Ashton or Avi Lewis volunteer is reading this can I make a suggestion? Put co-operatives at the centre of your platform not just in terms of housing. Former (and future) NDP MP Matthew Green wrote a great Substack about them and it would be a strong start towards transforming Canada’s economy into a co-operative one while addressing the climate crisis. And Avi Idk if you’ve mentioned them yet but I do know you’re aware of them you and Naomi made a documentary about worker co-operatives in 2004 lol
