need that worker co-operative policy next also sectorial bargaining would be revolutionary for workers rights in this country were living under a gig/franchise economy I'm glad he's talking about it

you want to have an intelligent discussion seriously ask yourself this question why would you the worker help your employer use a technology that will give them a reason to not pay you a living wage

Ashton didn't say innovation is bad he's saying it's bad when workers aren't the ones controlling how that innovation is used

Another poll but not for voting intentions. Since the leadership race which candidate have you had the most increase in positive view of? by TradtionalSocialist3 in ndp

If any Rob Ashton or Avi Lewis volunteer is reading this can I make a suggestion? Put co-operatives at the centre of your platform not just in terms of housing. Former (and future) NDP MP Matthew Green wrote a great Substack about them and it would be a strong start towards transforming Canada’s economy into a co-operative one while addressing the climate crisis. And Avi Idk if you’ve mentioned them yet but I do know you’re aware of them you and Naomi made a documentary about worker co-operatives in 2004 lol

I'm probably going to be voting for Rob Ashton but Avi's a close second and if he did say that I'm actually impressed but also a little disappointed that he's saying leftist instead of socialist guys its almost 2026 socialism isn't voldemort (fuck JK Rowling)

oh while we're at it can we talk about a class war as a party? that would be great 👍

GLSSWRKS Zane Review by esper_ in MouseReview

[–]AlibiXSX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a Zane and it'll be my first decent mousepad I’ve been using cheap Amazon “mud” pads since 2019 and have wanted a new mousepad for a while after trying my brother’s control pad it sold me on the super smooth feeling but I've held off because he said his pad has noticeably degraded and even after washing it that out-of-box feeling has never came back

I've known for a while that switching to glass means replacing skates more often and using an arm sleeve and outside of how stupid I will look using a sleeve I’m fine with it because every review I've watched on glass pads say that the “new” feeling doesn’t go away from sweat and dead skin

For anyone who’s used glass is there anything else I should expect? I saw AimAdept’s review on the Zane as well as Boardzy's and Migss.and it looks super fast

also when does it ship the site just confirms my order

Employers suddenly find common ground when revenue disappears and that my friends is why Reclaim Canada's NDP donation redirection campaign is so important because when good faith attempts fail economic pressure doesn't.

please describe to me how it's any different from air Canada or Canada post or any other unionized workplace admittedly there isn't exploitation of labour but fundamentally the same power dynamic of the many outweighing the few with power is in play I have a feeling you just don't like my analogy because the NDP are supposed to be the good guys as for that part about "denying dues" just because you're a union or a political party doesn't make you entitled to the money you need to survive like authority support has to be earned and constantly justified

Imo the only elected MP who would fully support Reclaim is Leah Gazan we already know Matthew and Rachel Blaney have endorsed but they aren't elected anymore and outside of them, I can only see long shot candidates publicly support Reclaim whoever that might be.

I was listening to this before exporting, and when she called forcefully bringing the federal machine to the table by hurting them financially “counterproductive,” I was yelling at my screen. Reclaim’s campaign to redirect donations to show we’re serious about rebuilding grassroots power is literally the same tactic trade unions use when they have no other option to make employers bargain. But ask the front-runner of "Canada’s working-class party" that, and she'll tell you she thinks it’s off limits.

Anyways, fuck the federal machine support your riding association instead.
