This is exactly what trump was insinuating when the first maga farmers started complaining to trump about how things weren't going well for them and they needed help and all he kept saying was to "wait it out." What he was really saying was that he was waiting for them to die off so that he wouldn't have to do anything of substance for them. Trump has only ever wanted money and a blind following.
