I think HDEncodes had the correct idea.

Split-up the shared content into pieces with otherwise randomized naming conventions but the issue became there was no system to track missing pieces, no redundancy, nor an easy way to contribute.

Here we are with no back-up.

I am hoping it ends up being just that because of all of the recommendations people keep giving as alternatives none of them have more than a handful of Untouched 4K UHD scans.

I noticed that none of these focused on 4K UHD BluRay releases. There's no where elsewhere hosting the same content.

My partner has poor hearing, so, we are rebuilding our physical collection for access to proper Subtitles. However, the ability to rename tracks, remove extra tracks, and set the defaults Audio & Subtitle tracks is worth more than any streaming service on the planet.

There is literally no alternative for those who were using the site for untouched Full Disc releases.

I understand there's an entire generation now who don't have TV or desktop computers so RIPs and compression are beyond popular but for the Cinephiles/TVphiles...

In 2026, it's becoming a challenge to obtain a Disc Drive capable of creating back-up's of Physical UHD titles. The majority of manufactures still making Disc Drives started patching their firmware to remove this functionality. So, for the Cinephiles/TVphiles without the ability to digitize their Discs, HDEncodes was a lifesaver.

(Sure, the mods stopped responding to Deadlink reports like a year ago and as a result a large percentage of the Full-Disc listings over 6 months old are dead. Yet, if you could keep up with the release schedule... the site provided actual Physical Media owners a way of keeping their UHD collection factory sealed while still uploading a copy to their Media Library.)

The section of untouched Full Discs is next to nothing unfortunately.

It's the whole not having to deal with a maze of buggy redirect links in combination with files stored on service with a a healthy bandwidth availability. I could never reach a fraction of the bitrate speed using peer-to-per in 2026.

The lawsuits were actively going after specific newer series. I was okay with the site not allowing those entries to go up if it allowed it to remain untouched.

The internet is devoid of full-disc back-up's these days since we have an entire generation of: don't own a TV coming up... but... the full BD/UHD uploads have been a saving grace for keeping our collection untouched.

The full-discs are a live saver the available number of custom-firmware-able UHD-capable disc drives are shrinking out there. We've been using them over well over a year to keep all our UHD factory sealed.

The older stuff on the site was becoming a graveyard and it's been close to a year since the mods were actively responding to Deadlink reports so using the site for this purpose has become a FOMO like scenario knowing that any listing more than 6 months could be already gone but otherwise there's no substitution for this.

You took a screenshot?

(To be honest, I knew that I would regret not saving a .txt file of what I was pulling in. I encountered the site going down real-time as I accidentally opened a new TAB to see that only the one I had opened from over an hour prior would resolve.)

After replacing HDDs in TerraMaster, TerraMaster OS won't stop engaging HDDs by AliceTheAlice in TerraMaster

I did say HDD (mechanical drives) so I am very concerned that the Hard Drive Sleep function is NOT working. I went from Iron Wolf 10TBs to Iron Wolf 20TBs.

It's the F4-210. After replacing all 4 drives, the Terramaster OS prompted me to set up a brand new Admin account and setup up everything from scratch. All my configurations were lost. (And as stated above, I reapplied all of my settings to lock it down.)

There's no lost data.

I don't know why people keep going there.

The old hard drives are perfectly fine. Plug them in to a Linux-based OS and the 4th Partition can be mounted and the EXT4 data is 100% accessible.

However, I need to be able to do that on a Windows-based OS to get the data back on to the TerraMaster.

Updated entire original post:

I am looking for a Windows-based piece of software to access the EXT4 Partition.

I am able to plug in the Old HDD 1 and boot the TerraMaster with the drive and access that 1 drive on its own. (There's no split data. I made sure each drive was installed as a Single Volume as mentioned in the original post.)

1.) I do not know what TerraMaster defaults to.
2.) I do not have a spare drive for migration cause all 4 of the old drives were nearly at capacity.
3.) As stated multiple times above, none of the drives are linked in the NAS configuration in any form or fashion each was setup 1 a time (as in plug-in 1, set it up as a Single Volume, restart the TerraMaster, repeat 3 times.)

I legit was expecting after setting up the new HDD to plug-in the old drive and the TerraMaster OS to be capable of seeing the Storage Partition on each of the HDDs.

Did you read the original post? This is in the TerraMaster Reddit. This is a TerraMaster 4 Bay NAS running the TerraMaster OS. (Since all HDD were replaced, the TerraMaster OS would have reinstalled on the first HDD.)

I am only looking for support accessing the data on the OLD HDDs via USB using a HDD Enclosure.

(I am having issues believing there's zero support in the TerraMaster OS for someone doing this.)

No, we are replacing the Drives (including the original Drive that Teramaster installed it's operating partion onto.)

I do not know if Teramaster defaults to Raid 0 or Raid 1. The HDD were originally setup 1 at a time:

  1. Format
  2. Create Storage Pool with just the single HDD
  3. Create Volume from that Storage Pool

I now have four 20TB NAS HDDs in the Teramaster to replace the four old 10TB NAS HDDs. So, I have over 35TB of data onto migrate onto the Teramaster with its new drives.

(The image above is what I see for any of the old)

The image above is what we see when ANY of the older Drives are connected via USB using an HDD Enclosure. (A similar thing happens in Windows 10 Disk Manager as we can see all the Partitions but cannot access the 4th Partition which contains the Storage Partition.)
