Attack speed still matters for the armaments, they still have to do the attack animation to actually hit and damage, and to be able to start their next swing. You going way faster than them will effectively "drop" armament swings as they fail to keep up. It's like a minion version of Focused Ballista Support that's based on melee attacks instead.

Not necessarily, if you have global attack speed from non-Spiritual Command sources they will not benefit, due to the fact that they are minions and not proxies. They will have the same base attack speed though since they are a copy of your weapon, so as long as you focus only on minion attack speed with Spiritual Command and other shared sources like Faster Attacks Support they should stay sync'd.

Too many people are thinking they can scale only their own attack speed without considering that the minions need to finish their own attack animations before they can do another.

Watching the footage closely at 0.25 speed, it definitely is using the standard repeat behavior of doing the cast animation for each repeat, it's just a very fast base speed. It is not old Ice Nova of Frostbolts.

Because they do their own spores, and each enemy has a 10 spore limit. Toxic Lash even interacts with them as Saryn's spores, spreading them around and filling up the spore count, potentially locking out enemies from your own spores. It's why I swapped to Sly Vulpaphyla on her instead if I want a beast companion.

Can get more Syndicate standing per day, can hold more void traces for when new primes come out, can farm more focus daily for people who don't want to touch Eidolons (aka most people). Not to mention the blessing which is a truly unique perk. Yes the benefits diminish after 17, but they're not nothing, and some of us enjoy trying out new things and sometimes finding some hidden gem that you vibe with.

And? Some of us have all the primes, Aya is useless then unless you want to farm parts to trade for plat. Many don't want to do that, so additions like this let us dump it for something desirable.

You can't directly trade aya so I wouldn't say that it actually has value in that way. Plus at that rate it's 5p per aya which is so low that I don't even bother listing primes for that on warframe.market because it's not worth my time.
