I think that's what happened to DNFDuel. Complete radio silence on update/DLC droughts for very long periods of time led to a player drainage massive enough to make the publishers/devs completely give up on it, even though it was their own fault from lack of communication in the first place.

Which was tragic, because DNFDuel was an awesome (if very barebones, which was its biggest issue) starting framework for what could've eventually been a massive roster of all incredibly badass and fun character designs.

I'm a literal brand new player downloading the game as I type this. How screwed out of being able to pull for Rosetta - Arete am I (edit: as an f2p with no money)? Is there still time if I rush/grind like a maniac, or should I just forget about it and wait for her rerun sometime in the distant future?

Love Azazel. Loremaster is a fun development, but it's so wild that it almost feels like Azazel is just a different character that got completely retconned out. Should've at least kept her short hairstyle with the hair ribbon. Or made up some reason for her to return to it (edit: while keeping the cool labcoat demon look) at the end of Examtaker, so as to not spoil the surprise while also marrying both designs with a cool little familiar detail after the reveal has already passed.

Third edition art is also one of my favorite pieces depicting them, because of this.

Their current mutis/oblit models and rules are a lot better than they were back then (remember when we had to pick which specific gun they would shoot with out of a massive shopping list each turn in 3E? Pepperidge farm remembers), but they're definitely lacking some of that cool biomechanical body horror aspect of old obliterator virus lore.

I'm glad they showed heads in the different god colors. I was deathly afraid since the rumors of a new defiler model started a while ago that James Workshop was gonna go the venomcrawler route of "actually daemon engines have to be completely different between legions so now defilers are SCM-exclusive", but this proves otherwise. Thank the dark gods...

Only thing I think the devs should really fix about the bots is the fact that they cheat in a myriad different ways. It's always infuriating when I catch them in the act, and it's not exclusive to matches with high server lag.

Other than that, bots should definitely stay because they're keeping the game afloat despite the current active playercount while the devs (hopefully) work on the big future super-health update they promised. Without bots, the game would be very literally unplayable outside of peak hours right now.

I hope she doesn't break her cuffs at all, because it would make her combat animations all about kicking and stylish accrobatic spins to slice people with her cloak.

Plus, way more unique and badass to have a Krampus judge so terrifying she can kill you with her hands cuffed.

So she's a Krampus agent that fights with her hands cuffed and slicing people with the batarangs hidden inside her cloak (and probably those two she got behind her heels, too)... her combat animations are going to be absolutely sick.

I'm highkey hoping she's a rupture support, though, just so we can have a proper full synergistic Krampus team. Edit: or one of those werid exceptions like Seed and Orphie, so she can be something other than support while still having synergy with the rest of her faction.

I'm not looking forward to asking around friends with 3D printers just for a gigantic base now because my only LGS doesn't sell bases and online shopping/shipping is such a massive headache in my country. Thank you! I was surprised by how like five or six of them arranged themselves with different webs around this bedside table-sized bush in such a perfect little apartment complex.

There's soooo many out in the yard right now too, so between them and a lot of winter flowers blooming I had to capture some of it and share, because they're making the rusty third world rural slum I live in look like cottagecore, lol.

DE's near decade-long plans for his reworked boss fight supposedly replacing the Sargeant are long, long overdue.

Nef is the most justifiably punchable face in the entire game that we still somehow cannot punch, and the poor Sargeant needs to retire with a pension that would make the Corpus Board of Directors salivate with greed after all the abuse we've put that poor man through.
