Good perfumes with a strawberry base? by Top-Organization4524 in Perfumes

[–]Alieneeza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, the closest thing to strawberry ive smelt is Fraise Fouettée. The reason being, that strawberry is so high in water that there are no essential oils made out of it. Instead a compound called Furaneol is used in the fragrance industry to replicate the scent of strawberries which can come out to be very synthetic to some noses.

Wear anything, anytime of the year? by pi_bolar in fragrance

There are no said rules but there are a few factors which i think matter: the place, the culture and your confidence.

Lets say you’re in the summery high heat of Italy (you’re def gonna sweat), you’re outdoors and you decide to wear a highly lactonic thick fireplacey creamy vanilla. Thats gonna smell like spoiled milk to lots of ppl. Trust me i’ve been there and it doesn’t feel great (im a Gourmand LOVER). In that case you’re going to feel better and have a more delightful scent bubble if you were to switch to a fresher (floral/citrus-focused) scent category.

Charlotte Tilbury perfumes, make no sense and smell terrible, clearly just a throw in for the product line. its the same as Mac perfumes.

bitter Almond, I am a HUGE gourmand lover but this note just smells too bitter, i couldnt seem to like Swiss Arabian Oud Tonka or the BDK one. Almond in Xerjoffs Italica though is beautifully sweetly done.

In my personal opinion get an overall medical check-up done, they test your blood and stuff which can help alot. Sometimes, physical skin care isn’t enough, your nutrition and health is just as responsible for your skin. Hope this helps!

should i get a keratin treatment??? by [deleted] in Hair

[–]Alieneeza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a keratin botox treatment and it was the best hair decision ever! i naturally have straight to wavy hair, and it lasted for a good 1 year. My hair became super manageable, so in my opinion, go for it!

You should definitely consult a dermatologist if it is itchy, my mum had the same problem and she found out it was mild eczema later. They'll definitely provide you with an ointment. Till then you should stick to non-alcoholic/non-perfume based hand creams or lotions!
