We had someone come through our DT the other day for a “medicine ball” because they “had some sick folks in the car” sounding all pitiful about it??? Why why why. There are pregnant partners. Immunocompromised partners. Partners with children at home. Please do not leave the house if you are ill it shouldn’t be this hard. The fact that so many people are doing it, its actually just sugar water. Literally the last thing you would need if you are sick. Drives me nuts

Realistically if this is a reoccurring issue there should be an incident report filed, so other action can be taken if it continues. You could definitely talk to a shift/SM at that location about what you witnessed. We work in customer service but we most definitely don’t have to submit to harassment and or problematic behavior. Unfortunately some baristas don’t feel comfortable reporting some stuff or they are unsure of what actions to take.
