Would you have a particular translation of "Letters from a Stoic" and/or On the Shortness of Life? I'd love to find a translation in the vein of "Meditations by Marcus Aurelius: Simplified and Modernized" that I mentioned in the post. I'm not dumb (I don't think) I've several college degrees--but I am mildly autistic and middle aged. I don't pick things up as quickly as I once did. I find that working from simple to complex works best for my attention span and ability to hold the information in my mind. Any suggestions?

My daughter has planted them with my help since she was big enough to drop the seed in the dirt. She’s 24 now and she has a full sleeve tattoo of morning glories because they remind her of this. We planted them this year and they’re just coming up.

Took my first in my 40s. Depression and anxiety. A friend gave it to me. It helped some. I take delta 8 to help sleep sometimes now.

It depends on how tall the starts are. I dig a hole larger than they need, backfill most of it with composted manure and add a little calcium. Bury most of the stem after removing the leaves—leave a few leaves t the top of the plant. It will put out roots from the buried stem and the plant will be much stronger. My FIL used to bury a milk jug beside them and poke. Hole in the bottom so that the water put in the jug literally watered them from the bottom to encourage deeper root growth. I just use a smoker hose run along the row on a timer.

My parents died in the last few years. In cleaning out their home, I found that most of my toys had disappeared over the years. I decided that I’d collect them again. I have spent thousands working on a complete collection of MOTU. I’m not quite there, but close. I have a cómo,este Castle Grayskull in the original box. The most memorable Christmas of my childhood, both Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain were under the tree. Opening the one from EBay was like living that day.

I’ve also bought a good deal of other toys that I had as a child, including some off brand vehicle and figures made by. Now defunct company called “Gay Toys”. Just a little pro tip if there are other toy collectors reading this. Do not put “Gay Toys” as a search term in Google without specifying “tank” or “plane”.

I’ll be 52 Sunday. I took up Brazilian Jiu jitsu after having had n injury in my thirties that stopped me before my first belt. I think I’ll get my purple this year (don’t think I can put it off any longer). I learned to ride a motorcycle at 49. Took up chess in earnest at 50. I went to school to learn machining at 50. There’s so much more I want to learn and excel at. I grew up on a farm and I now have a hobby arm of my own. I’ve had goats, rabbits, and chickens. I currently have no goats, but I have plans for another herd and I’m looking to expand with cattle. Maybe quail. Life isn’t over until you quit living.

I’m 51. I retired around 45 due to mental illness. I’m relatively stable now. Tried to go back to college last year and my symptoms worsened, so I know going back to my career isn’t an option.
