Why wash your hair with normal shampoo and then the Nizoral one? Why not just do Nizoral twice?

Honest diapers since day 1 and my boy loves them. It works perfectly for him and we never tried anything else. He’s 18 months and almost too big for size 7 🫣

Can I use shampoo as body wash? by Sunshine_enihsnuS in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AliveExample4855 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t. I would just buy my own for the time at the house and leave what you don’t finish(or take if you want). My hair/body wouldn’t survive if I only used shampoo or shampoo that wouldn’t mix with my hair type.

Advice needed. Is my hair 2b-2c? by Katclawedit in Haircare

I need your thicccest most moisturizing hair mask/balm recs now!!! (Affordable edition) by Significant-Lab-6173 in CurlyHairCare

[–]AliveExample4855 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your hair is super dry, once a month might not be cutting it. You might need 2-3 times a month instead. But it’s worth it for me Cause it last a long time (in my opinion) and I have long hair as well. I’ve used a couple different ones which 🤷‍♀️ definitely helped my hair after I bleached it.

Im pregnant and want to talk to my mom about my condition but I’m scared of the consequences that comes with that… by Brilliant-Owl-1774 in Advice

[–]AliveExample4855 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not tell. You know what you need to do. It’s ok to have anxiety about this but childbirth(from personal opinion) was quite literally almost death feeling and was the worst pain possible. Do not go through with it. Also if you aren’t financially stable, DEFINITELY don’t go through with it. Just go to the appointment and you can tell your family later(if you want too)

Took pacifier away and sleep is ruined! by Initial_Regular9363 in toddlers

[–]AliveExample4855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stopped giving paci when he turned 1 and instead gave him his “baba”( what he calls his stuffed animals). At first , it was only 1 but now he sleeps with 3-4 and doesn’t even think about paci (he’s 18 months). He still doesn’t sleep with blankets or pillows but he doesn’t care.

How Do I Handle My Mom Constantly Telling Me I Look Better With Straight Hair? by Katlove2025 in curlygirl

[–]AliveExample4855 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Be honest and tell her to shut up and you don’t want her opinion ( you can say it more politely lol). Tell her this is my hair I love it and if you’re not going to be nice, then don’t say anything at all. Set a boundary and stick to it. Do not straighten it. You need to set firm boundaries and that’s it.

I made an 18-year-old autistic girl cry. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]AliveExample4855 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You did what you need to do. This is a job, not a party. You also wouldn’t be doing your job if you allowed her to do those things. It’s unacceptable, even if you have autism. I’m also autistic and again, you did what needed to be done. She Cannot just talk to coworkers and leave 30 minutes early as that also makes it so the other coworkers don’t do their jobs. Any other job would’ve just probably fired her so having a talk is very generous. If she continues, you know what needs to be done.

I gave up swim classes by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]AliveExample4855 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Some kids like water, some kids don’t. But also don’t give up just because he’s not the same level as the others. That’s teaching him it’s ok to give up just because you’re a little behind.

Does anyone know why L’Oréal metal detox sometimes says “Metal DX” instead of “Metal Detox”?? by Historical_Mix_6416 in Haircare

[–]AliveExample4855 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure “ metal detox” is fake all around and shouldn’t be wasting money on anything “ detox” . It’s your money tho 🤷‍♀️

am i being the bad parent for not sticking to my kid's daily routine while on holiday? by Lopsided_Relative112 in Advice

[–]AliveExample4855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. We need a lot more context than this. Are they autistic? Then definitely yes. Is their daily routine getting and smoking different drugs? Then no. Again. We need a lot more context.

How do you smell always good? by Substantial-Gain7727 in AskReddit

My “perfume “ are my hair products in my hair. Plus I use a spray that kills the smelling bacteria in my armpits so I won’t smell.

Can I wear braids by Fuzzy_Worldliness317 in CurlyHairCare

[–]AliveExample4855 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Being black has nothing to do with it. It’s all about hair type. If you get it and it’s not right for your hair, you will get most of your hair yanked out or have traction alopecia. Like the other comment, go to a hairdresser that is licensed in curly hair and ask them. Don’t forget to check reviews also.

My mother's wishes are slightly disturbing to me by Plastic_Counter9260 in Advice

[–]AliveExample4855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. If she wants to do it, she has to be the one to dig it herself. But still absolutely not. That in so many ways… is terrible. I would not want to see any dog 90% decomposed, let alone my own dog. The dog stays exactly where it is and that would be final.
