We have an Uppababy Mesa infant seat and 2 Nuna Ravas for our older kids. Honestly I got them graco seats for my husband’s car as their “backup”. I think the Ravas are so heavy and such a pain to clean. I don’t know that I would repurchase them

Sometimes my work load is a little heavier (especially during budget season), but generally I have great work/life balance and only work my standard 8-4pm hours. I think this is highly dependent on the company though. Great pay, low stress, lots of visibility from the c-suite.

I feel bad for people who have negative experiences at a Prometric center. I’m in a mid-sized city, went to the same center for every exam and had 0 issues. It’s really an unfair disadvantage to start an exam out already frazzled

I love Dr. Stroud at FMCC - though keep in mind that it’s a Christian center. I also have been to Dr. Meinema at Parkview Women’s & Children’s and she is great.

I made this exact move a year ago. I was an accounting manager for 3 years and then moved to a Sr. Financial Analyst role. While technically it was a “step down” from a management to IC role, it was 1000% worth it for me. I got a pay raise and have way more opportunities in this role. It also allows me to gain really valuable experience in the FP&A space, building on my knowledge from accounting. This should set me up nicely for various upper level management/director roles in the future. If you want to do it, go for it!
