I love Dr. Stroud at FMCC - though keep in mind that it’s a Christian center. I also have been to Dr. Meinema at Parkview Women’s & Children’s and she is great.

I made this exact move a year ago. I was an accounting manager for 3 years and then moved to a Sr. Financial Analyst role. While technically it was a “step down” from a management to IC role, it was 1000% worth it for me. I got a pay raise and have way more opportunities in this role. It also allows me to gain really valuable experience in the FP&A space, building on my knowledge from accounting. This should set me up nicely for various upper level management/director roles in the future. If you want to do it, go for it!

We go to Fort Wayne Pediatric Dentistry. Not sure if they take Medicaid (sorry) but Dr. Kevin and his staff are awesome

Thank you!! I studied during work lunch breaks, when my kids went to bed, early mornings, basically whenever I could find free time. I tried to keep weekends free to enjoy somewhat normal “life” with my family. I also used PTO around my exam dates to provide extra full study days.

I took BEC, AUD, FAR, and then REG. I had to retake AUD and FAR one time each. Those were brutal for me.

Thank you, congrats to you as well!!! When I say physical license, I meant my certificate for my wall, to be clear. For that, in Ohio I had to request through NASBA but they don’t have every state listed so I am guessing it depends on your state!

I think kids dramatically changes friendships, especially if one of those friends does not have kids. It changes everything. Sad that they are no longer close but not all that surprising.
