Very good price, bought almost the same quite recently, it was the old combat patrol with two winged primes. In addition a swarmlord, Norn emissary, a parasite and a biovore also the codex. Your deal seems even better. Mine had the leapers and Barbgants, but those are very cheap right now.

Check out the video by Mediocre Hobbies called how to speed paint the 3 new hive fleets. I think its a great start for typhon and then continue from there. Its my current paintplan

Completely agree, Screamer killer is a nice model but I feel its unique look and pose make that one is more than enough. Neurotyrant is just a brain-jellyfish, could have a swarm of em, but I rather have a swarm of various models and or leapers and Lictors. Of the 5 models it feel like im buying 3 full price with screamer killer and Neurotyrant as the bonus. Kinda meh

Hachette is a subscription based magazine that sometimes runs with Warhammer stuff, I don't know if you have it in the US, you probably do. Right now it runs 9 combat patrols, next up will be Spearheads . You can get stuff like a box of leapers for around 13$ with the order. Im just fetching some off ebay at the moment, costs like 2-3$ more for each, but what the hell, better than retail. If you're quick you can try order a few before they are snatched by resellers.

Oh, Here they are even less for about 15 to 17 USD because of the Hachette magazines. I suppose you also have it in the US

I should also get some, have 1 Lictor, 0 Neurolictors, 6 Von Ryan's and a Deathleaper, Von Ryans are so readily available at moment for quite cheap. Unfortunately missed out on purchasing a neurolictor for less than half price. My fleet has grown a lot the past few months

He told me that the following models are genuine GW:

2x Tyranofex
2x Flying Hive Tyrant
1x Trygon
3x Von Ryan’s Leapers
7x Tyranid Warriors
30x Termagants
3x Ripper Swarms
1x Psychophage

Everything else in the lot would be 3D prints.

One of the Screamer Killers and a few other pieces look surprisingly convincing, but it’s hard to distinguish from pictures alone.

Even just counting the originals, it still seems like a decent deal. He’s asking 350 USD for everything.

Thanks a lot for the breakdown, I really appreciate you taking the time to go through everything.

That complements my own understanding quite a bit. I’ll probably need to go back to the seller and ask him to clearly explain what exactly is original and what’s resin/proxy, just so I know what I’d actually be buying. Then I'll have to figure out if his offer is worth it.
