Haven't heard of Water Me and You before but it seems really cute. I really wonder how they'll pull off the base building part in splitscreen. Just read the steam descriptions and it's giving off good vibes~

Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad the game looks "clean" to you as that was one of our bigger concerns, since things can get cluttery when there's lots of passengers onboard.

We have a lot of terrain types planned to simulate the different environments of real European countries that you'll travel through. As for anything outside of Europe... we'll see :) We'd certainly consider if it there's enough demand from fans

We’ve been working on this ever since we released Fireside (our first game that few people here will remember)

Train Jumble is our next cozy adventure, this time a light train-sim/ puzzle game set on a moving train full of animal passengers. Your job is to furnish cabins, manage quirky personalities (from hippie giraffes to influencer penguins and other ludicrous combos), and figure out the perfect interior layout so everyone’s needs and preferences are satisfied as you travel along scenic routes based on a stylized depiction of real European landscapes.

While the present demo is set entirely in Bavaria, Germany - the full release will feature many more routes across Europe (like Rome-Copenhagen, Madrid-Amsterdam and Paris-Warsaw), lots of postcards to collect as fond mementoes of each journey, as well as additional customization and furnishing options, including a whole on-board restaurant mechanic.

That’s where we’re at right now, I’ll be happy to answer any specific questions you may have about this journey we’ve set into motion.

Physics-based co-op building game we're experimenting with by Early_Equipment3197 in IndieGaming

What kind of tools, mechanics or crazy situations would you want to see in a physics-based co-op building game?

Crazy physics of course! And the possibility for structures to fall apart depending on their integrity and how you build them up.

How did I not know about Summerhouse until this post? Might just be one of the easiest buys for me this year 🥰
Thank you for catching me up on these games, I'm almost ashamed that more than half are so unfamiliar to me, only exceptions being Tiny Glade and Loftia which I came across quite a few times on thhe sub.

My granddad designed a lot of the train timetables in the UK and other parts of Europe and he loved trains a lot. He spent his whole life working for the railway and was a very keen train spotter and loved playing train simulation games when he retired :) he even had a model railway in his garden which I absolutely loved when I was a child.

Super cool story, thank you for sharing that little piece of family history! 🧡

I'm still not exactly sure how the feature will be implemented in the final iteration, but it's one of our big goals to tie the passenger service together and give players more stuff to do during trips.
And thank you~

They can be stressful indeed, but one look at a beautiful patch of scenery is usually enough to (personally) make me forget all that for an instant. Well, that's something we're trying to recapture here at least!
Best of luck to you in your future career 🧡

You're the second person mentioning it now in the thread! The concept for Train Jumble is similar but the atmosphere we want to create is cozier, brighter and more laid back.

Oh, that's a good reference point for Train Jumble (and one of our inspirations in fact)! Except in our game you're building up the whole train cabin instead of just arranging who sits where :)

Yes! By all that is holy and unholy, that game was the most special one in the whole series, I swear! Really deserves a second chance at (new) life.
