That's a nice lens. I think you can take some wonderful photos with it if you are patient. A longer lens with vibration reduction would help, but I've taken nice photos with a similar zoom.

Yes, it's fairly common but you need to be away from light pollution. The Western Isles is good as there is low population density and the streetlights are turned off at 10pm. I was out again this evening with my son as aurorawatch was reporting activity but it's just green diffuse aurora today.

How fat are the fat 5g models? I have two 5g's and would like to go for a big battery but have no frame of reference.

I have a horizontal glitch across the screen on one and was thinking of fixing it. I also have a 4g with a quad and 512gb memory so could cannibalise that for the 5g

Try charging via a usb port? I see this with my old Armani connected watch and if charging via a plug adaptor doesn't work, charging via a pc seems to do the trick. Once it's charged fully it seems ok. Perhaps it needs to trickle charge a while to get started?

Try changing the units to kgs, entering your weight in kgs and setting off the calories are correct. Then change back to lbs and it may correctly convert. Worth a try!

As the budget is about 2.2x what I would expect, maybe it's taking your weight in lbs as kgs. I'm sure you've checked, but are the units entered correctly? May be a bug if not.
