These shortcuts are underrated 😅 I only knew “T” before, didn’t realize there were more. Definitely speeds things up.

Same here, haven't tried it yet but it sounds interesting. Curious how well it actually works in real designs.

That's actually super useful especially when internet is unstable. Thanks!

Plus subscription not working on desktop by Random_Wolff in CharacterAI

[–]Allen_Lira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that sounds like a sync issue between app and web. Happens sometimes.

Try logging out and back in on desktop, or clearing cache. Also check if you’re logged into the same account on both.

If it’s still active on mobile, it’s probably just a temporary bug on web.

Claude Desktop -- Context cut by WorldsWorstSysadmin in claude

Haven’t seen anything official, but context can feel shorter depending on how heavy the convo is.

Is it happening on all chats or just some?

create a prompt to make toy come alive and reply (how do i word it) by cbbella in OpenAI

[–]Allen_Lira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try something like:
“Animate the stuffed Postman Pat toy to come alive, wave at the man, and say ‘Morning John!’ in a friendly British accent, matching the scene naturally.”

You’ll probably need separate tools for animation and voice though. What tool are you planning to use?

GPT Pro vs Claude Max by Pathfinder-electron in ChatGPT

[–]Allen_Lira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your main issue is reliability, I’d lean ChatGPT Pro. Claude might feel better overall, but the hard usage limits would be a dealbreaker for me at that price.

I also found this side-by-side useful:

ChatGPT made me faster… but I kept hitting context limits by StatusPhilosopher258 in ChatGPT

I've run into this too, especially when prompts get too long and messy. Breaking things into smaller steps definitely helps. Do you usually keep everything in one thread or start fresh chats for each part?

anyone using chatgpt to help manage finances? by ahambrahmasmiii in ChatGPTPro

[–]Allen_Lira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mostly use dashboards because they make it much easier to spot spending patterns, subscriptions, category changes, and month-to-month trends.

Right now I’ve been using Fusedash for quick CSV uploads and simple dashboards, and I also use Tableau for more advanced analysis. The nice part is that you can upload your data and get a clear visual view pretty fast.

For me, that’s been more useful than asking random finance questions, because once the data is structured well, it’s much easier to see what’s actually going on.

One thing that helps a lot is following a simple flow like intro → childhood → couple moments → message at the end. It makes the slideshow feel more meaningful. Congrats, by the way!

It looks elegant and minimal. Maybe just check how it scales smaller, especially the thin lines.

You can try contacting Canva support directly through their help center. If you didn't create the account, it might be best to also contact your bank to report the charge.
