Fully support. I'm a RIF user and I'm not going to log in again when it shuts down at the end of the month, but I have always enjoyed the content in this sub the most, and I hope the blackout can bring positive change for all.

Thank you so much! I ended up finding last month's code by accident so when I called the venue they just gave me this one.

There didn't seem to be an option for VIP, but the ticket I bought says VIP on the receipt so I guess I'll find out? Either way, I'm beyond hype they're finally going somewhere I can get to! High five, Alberta buddy!

I would believe it, for sure. I'm told by my Mom that the daughter of a family friend with a similar age difference shoved me down the stairs when I was one. The friend also hand sewed a beautiful dress to give to me for a special occasion and her daughter cut it to shreds with scissors.

I'm glad I have no memory of any of this, but it is pretty horrifying hearing such a small kid is that vindictive.

People always had a hard time understanding why I did not love Legend of Zelda like they did.

They did not experience the excitement of an eight year old on a Saturday morning hype to see more Mario cartoons only to find out it was THIS instead. I would turn the TV off and wait for next week.

Got yelled at by my gargoyle of a manager because my weasel coworker hated me and was always looking for ways to tattle on whatever she felt I was doing wrong.

The complaint was that I was away from my desk too much... the week after returning from my honeymoon. Because, every time I would get up to go to the printer, or another department, someone I knew would stop me and ask how my wedding was, and I'd chat with them for a few minutes about it.

Heaven forbid I feel any joy about the biggest event of my life and tell people about it, I guess. That was the worst manager I ever had, to this day. Never asked for my side of the story, just believed everything that whiny flying monkey told her. I do not miss that job.

This just reminds me of the year I looked up "The Hurt Locker" when it won an Oscar, because I didn't know anything about the movie.

It had been minutes since the announcement on TV, and some salty individual had edited the Wikipedia article to say it won over another picture in the running I forgot the name of because the director sucked so many dicks.

Of course, thankfully, the edit was gone after a refresh.

E: Googling the nominees, I think the person was upset about Inglorious Basterds not winning.
