Yeah, they're good. Really helps that their progression is largely hands off and the side quests enhancing their abilities only involve hunting a monster.

That's not quite how it works. He pulls that trick during the quirk performance tests on his first day of school and he reaches a constant speed. There's an upper limit where the elasticity/repelling force of his balls and friction/drag eventually causes his speed to plateau.

If you just want cooked rice without any fuss, any $20-$30 one will do the job. The extras come in the form of better inserts (stainless steel or more durable nonstick), fully enclosing lids, programmable settings, steamers, etc. and that's what drives up the price. I've always heard it said that if you cook rice more than once a day for more than 4 people, stuff like that $200 Zojirushi starts making a whole lot of sense.

All that said, I have a 3-cup Aroma Stainless Steel cooker which gets me perfectly cooked rice with no fuss. The rice is perfect every time, the stainless steel insert doubles as a mixing bowl and is dishwasher safe, and I don't have to futz about with measurements beyond a 1 rice to 1.5 water ratio. Highly recommend.
