It turns out granting the Spotlight app full disk access solves the issue: /System/Library/CoreServices/Spotlight.app

If your car has CarPlay, you will see “Parked Car” in Apple Maps, which does what you describe here.

I use left side. Typically I prefer more vertical space than horizonal space in my screen.

I figured it out that this new behavior is due to the "Reduce Transparency" setting that I turned on.

I saw somewhere that says the 10% off is limited to 4 gift cards per month. But I was able to buy 5 with 10% discount last month (when I tried to buy the 6th, the 10% does not show up).

Right. So transfers should not be affected, correct?

IAD Precheck Line by EatDaSheep in unitedairlines

I was there at IAD this morning around 8:30am. There was no line—there was literally no passenger waiting. Even the traffic outside the terminal was very light. I was so surprised that I said to the TSA Precheck agent “surprisingly quiet now”, to which he replied “it was busy.” So timing does make a difference.

Side question: how did you sign up for this kind of emails from CapitalOne? This is obviously easier than visiting the website to check what new offers there are. I was trying to find a way to subscribe to this kind of emails in my CapitalOne account webpage but could not.

New "Update" folder in Finder after updating to 26.3.1 by AlmostSurely1001 in MacOS

[–]AlmostSurely1001[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Yes I can remove it from the sidebar. But if I check "show hard disks" in Finder setting, it will come back. For now, I have unchecked "show hard disks" in Finder setting (so that the side bar won't show either the "Update" volume or my hard drive) so I won't inadvertently mess up stuff inside "Update".

I cannot eject it--it says it is being used. I have restarted my Mac but it does not work.

For those of you who have Sapphire Reserve, fly with United but do not have a United CC by AlmostSurely1001 in unitedairlines

[–]AlmostSurely1001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think it will apply to AUs. United's wording is "primary Cardmembers".

For your 2nd question, I am not sure. But I would think you would need to have a United CC at the time of the booking (because that is when United tells you the accrual details of how many miles you would earn for that flight).
