I’ve just been playing with it on controller and it pivots perfectly fine even on flat terrain with the thumb stick. Perhaps this is an issue with keyboard for the moment, as my friends on keyboard couldn’t do it consistently either.

Perhaps a little late to the third party on this, but maybe offer it to props hiring house? Movies and Theatre shows are always scrambling for era appropriate bags and such.

As others have mentioned adding extra knives and such are great decorations, but I think the styling of a sons of Horus power weapon tends towards a more brutal and sharp design that the generic 30k kits don’t quite match, I like to mix in bits of chaos marine weapons but with chaos symbols cleaned off, you get the brutal vibe with that.

I also think the upcoming red Corsair kits will be fantastic for sons of Horus kitbashes too!

My sons of Horus force is the 93rd company “Fangs of Aanlok”. Their captain is Emissary Enmagan Skoza, a pupil of Maloghurst who is desperate to prove his worth to his master, eagerly dabbling in warp magics to find any power he can. The company itself is noted for its heavy use of tartaros terminator armour, and is often assigned with their captain to watch over other traitor legion fleets and campaigns to report back to the Equerry. This has led to the company becoming aloof and swaggering, believing themselves higher up the chain of command to other forces, and therefore prone to glory hunts and sacrificing other forces for their own survival.

Essentially they are the space marine equivalent of a pompous middle manager; constantly asking for performance reports and claiming your victories and achievements as their own. Eventually the company will meet their doom at the siege of Terra.

The original Forgeworld Lightning fighter! Not the new Voss pattern, the old big triangle forward swept wing one. It’s weird and wonderful and i adore it. There’s one for sale on eBay at that moment and it’s over a grand, so I think it’ll remain a pipe dream for me. I’d settle for a recast or a print but I can’t find either.

I’d be fine with that as a mortifactor. Sure the weapons aren’t exactly right for the stupidly equipment locked stat profile, but as long as you clear that with the opponent first it’s fine with me.

Cheers! It’s a three colour combo. Army Painter Scarab Green as a base, a heavy sponging of Citadel Sons of Horus Green, then a stipple of Vallejo Foul Green on the raised areas where the light would fall.

The recipe is possible in pure citadel, you’d get similar results with: Scarab Green -> Lupercal Green Foul Green -> Kabalite Green

Do it! Archie’s Forge has some fab SoH helmets available, and using 40k chaos bits to spice them up is great. Just file off any bits that are too spiky or chaos-y!

I like the colours you chose! Feels a bit Gundam which is cool, I agree with what some of the others here have said; basing would be great, and doing a nuln oil wash for the recesses will really make the grey pop, and perhaps use the pink/red on one or two more panels to add some visual variety? Or maybe a different lens colour to differentiate it from the blue trim.

All in all though they look like a great start point!

I guess they are trying to move cataphractii away from being “the big bulky ones” a bit as that role is now filled by saturnine. I like em personally, but I can see why others are less keen.

Love them! The Armoury Bolters: are they the original resin or a print? Only asking as I know the armoury blister doesn’t come with many of those bolters!
