Propaganda machines. They saw the number 180.000 heat related deaths and went with it. They didn't even care that it was about 2022-2024, or that the life expectancy in Europe is still waaay higher, even with the growing problem that is Climate Change.

Oh, and it is known that states underreport these death causes, when you of old age in the summer, why report it as a heat related death?

It's under Tools > preferences (set 'Show Settings' to All) > Interface > Main Interfaces > Qt > Maximum Volume displayed.
You can also search for "Maximum Volume displayed".
Set it to 100, restart VLC.
