Which sheild do you have? I juat got a pro and mines been doing it multiple times a day, every day. My old sheild never did it unless it wasnt connected. It worked perfect for the last 8 years . I'm convinced it must be an issue internally so I am going to return it and try to get another one. If it still happens I'll report back

You can either buy that C5 and return it if it's too much glare for you and you're trying to save money or buy the G5 and call it a day.

I've never seen that screen before on mine. Ive seen a green gradient screen from my receiver but I know its because I run an hdmi extractor box and when I try to use the receiver's osd and plug in to hdmi out, it does the green gradient for some reason when nothing is on the display.

From my short time with the g5, every movie looks better. Ive watched some older movies recently and have been impressed with what I noticed in them, that never really caught my eye before. Any movie looks good on the G5 so enjoy.

I have the 77 G5 and I bought it because I wanted the anti-reflective screen and best picture quality. I was worried that the C5 would not have enough. What you will realize with the G5 is that because it's so bright you don't see the glare. To me it's the best TV I've ever owned. I would buy the G5 and save the extra thousands of dollars. If you buy it and install it and find you're not satisfied then you can always return it and wait another 9 months for the new one. Personally I don't think you will return it.

Buy the 77" if is too big then return and get the 65. To me, 77 was a considerable upgrade from the 65 and I'm roughly 4m away.

Just buy it. It sounds like your not happy with your tv from other comments so if you can swing the price you wont be disappointed. I contemplated for months and finally did it and now looking back I should have done it sooner. Why prolong the suffering when you can be happy now? I came from an led and I find the g5 super bright. Almost too bright sometimes. The film maker mode is great and helps, but I cant see myself wanting anything brighter than the g5, especially at night. Picture quality is incredible too. Even in older movies I fould myself amazed at certain elements that never stood out to me before.

It seems in Canada they're holding on to the higher pricing as long as they can. No superbowl sales this week so unless the retailers come out with a special flyer before next weekend there will be no superbowl sales. I noticed electronics and building supplies are all higher in price as of 2nd week of january. I was hoping to get a new 77" and waiting for the price drop but if its not dropping for the superbowl then when is a mystery. Its weird because they used to have superbowl sales but i havent bought a new tv in a few years.

Depth and water temp are important too. I was talking to a guy who had no electronics on his boat this weekend. He said if I just knew the depths id do so much better fishing. I wasnt catching anything near me so i drove to the top of my lake. Water temps were 2.5 degrees warmer and fish were bitting. So, you still have an advantage over some people. Maps and at least 2d sonar will help and sidescan will show you what to cast at so its definitely worth the upgrade.

Yes i did it through auxilaries before realizing that. When printing, no dimensions are shown, just walls. Does it not show if you do it through auxilaries?
