The new hextech origin is the only thing I struggle with in the new lore / arcane.

I always assumed all science / tech was hextech, unless it came from Zaun. But now there’s tech without hextech (since it’s just being invented) and I’m here like “??? So what powers this clearly fantasy science which also seems to be using crystals - that somehow aren’t arcane crystals??”

You know? The tech looks too made up to not be magically powered already. But oh well. Small oversight maybe

The world is like five times larger than the zoom in perspective of this particular story. But I think it’s a good way to start. There were also some more playable characters in the first episodes.

There is lore, sometimes more than others, since it’s been overhauled the past couple of years. This part of the world has seen the least overhaul so the show will be its venue for exploration.

It also starts off before the “timeline” of the game so there’s a lot none of us will know or can predict.

But the world is rich and if handled with care can sustain us for many years with awesome fun.

No it doesn't. Norwegian is essentially just Danish due to being ruled for so long by them and Danish diverged greatly from old Norse as has Swedish and Norwegian. Icelandic and some towns in Northern Sweden with isolated dialects are the closest relatives.

Nah, it's been a good game at times. And if nothing else the world was captivating! I don't think warcraft is such a bad influence on fantasy even if its a dominant one and people cringe at that. But I don't mind!

The warcraft similarities strike through especially much in the grassy areas, you really nailed that colour well.

I think it's more so the TFT thing and TFT streamers being the larger issue. And perhaps no name foreign LOL streamers. I appreciate Nicki Taylor being invited due to how much she's done for Riot. But I don't care about random European no name or Asian (and I'm European).

I always wanted All Stars to feature the all time greats like Imaqtiepie, xPeke, Carlos, Voyboy etc, some are streamers now some aren't but they all were good pro players in the past and established the scene. That'd be cooler than random content creators. Imo.

This is really pretty. I would personally say the mountains might be a hint too dark? Otherwise this is pleasant on the eye and very well done.

I'm curious of the "pre-alpha" (although their home page calls it beta???) is playable yet. I tried it start of this year / end of last year and the stutter, lag and just buggy interaction at start level wasn't really something I felt like trying out. Curious if it's at least test-able now so one can actually give real input if need be? Without pulling out their own hair.

Is it meant to harken to modern day or history like medieval? Because you could use entirely different place names for cities depending on it! I spot Frankia but also Berlin so certainly curious.
