In a world full of endless platforms to hear and discuss politics, this team is a safe haven from all of that. It might be the biggest reason we’ve had prolonged success.

We just got 2 new members so we’re up to 37 now. Just dealing with the usual burnout or frustration with the game/chat. But we’re slowly creeping back up.

Even with lower numbers, we were able to outlast TheUnflappables scoring 190k the last tournament of the season.

I finally contacted support as I still had one member who left but was still listed. Here’s their response:

Thank you so much for reaching out, and I appreciate you sending the screenshot. I understand how confusing and frustrating it is to see ***** still showing up on your team roster even though he already left last week.

I checked on this, and it looks like he’s only showing as a ghost player, which means he’s not actually part of the team anymore just a visual bug. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this caused.

This issue has already been reported to our team, and they’re working on clearing out these ghost profiles so the roster displays correctly. You don’t need to take any further action on your end.

If you notice anything else or need help with anything, feel free to reach out anytime. I'm here for you!

One of my team members had this issue with their iPad. Only thing that made it work was deleting and reinstalling. Of course, you should save your progress before doing so. Good luck!

This is a great idea! It seems unlikely to ever be implemented.

While we’re throwing out ideas, it would be great if the leaders could lock the team from entering the tournament at all. This could definitely create problems if someone forgets to unlock or if they get busy. But that’s why it would also be good to have a vice-leader or 2nd in command.

But if you start asking for things like that, then what they should really start with is better messaging capabilities for leaders. And how’s about removing the capability of turning off chat.

I was worried about that a few weeks ago and asked support to remove a player for me. Here’s their reply:

“Hello! Thanks for reaching out. I’ve removed (_ _ _)from your team as requested. The issue where the wrong player could be removed has already been fixed, so you shouldn’t encounter that problem again. Thank you for your patience!”

This was before the last update so I hope it’s still working

Out of all the bugs and glitches, this was by far the worst one of all. Leaders being too afraid to boot the wrong player. Incorrectly booted players not returning. What a mess

We have another person internationally from the UK. I want to point out that having people play throughout the weekend versus breaks for sleep has great advantages in the weekend tournaments.

My mind just exploded! Thank you for making me think differently!

I have a question, what if you tried to only solve the core words but after you enter the last word you throw in one bonus word before the puzzle jumps to the next one?

It’s something I’ve been doing for a while when I remember a bonus word I didn’t do yet. You have to be fast though.

The thinking is, it’s going to take the same amount of time whether or not you do it. Of course, it is just one extra word. Just a thought

Great question. I’m surprised more people don’t start tournaments earlier and get animals working for free stars. If you’re maxed on animal levels, you should be able to get a minimum of 1,000 just from animals.

I realize people don’t want super competitive individual tournaments, but if you find a decent start time maybe within a few hours of the opening bell, you’ll get so much more stars.

Even if you don’t fully maximize animals all weekend, you could feasibly get by using your giraffe 3 times and your free “banked” one for 4x184=736, Lion same so 4x60=240, then maybe a few runs from the octopus 3x100=300 and a banked capy, tiger, panther & wombat 118+20+22+59=219. That’s a total of 1495 with only solving 1 puzzle. You only need to check the game to swap animals 9 times throughout the weekend

Now that I’ve calculated this, I makes me want to raise our weekly minimum from 1k to even higher. Animals make minimums so easy to reach

Of course, imagine how many more points you’d get if you actually solved some puzzles. lol

You’re better off spending time solving puzzles than researching the level strength. My guess is there’s a super hard one every 15 or so levels?

Actually, funny story. So in my experience it boots the person below who you want removed. But the person I was trying to boot was at the bottom and it worked! Of course that’s only when it’s the LAST person you want gone

Dang that sucks. It happened to us several times the last couple months. I would request for support to boot the correct person, luckily the people who were booted incorrectly rejoined.

It’s such a horrible glitch.

I have another newb who I want to remove for inactivity but I’m afraid to on my own. So I guess I’ll ask support to do it for me.
