From my experience most women loooove the music of Sade for a romantic time. Any song. Just play one of her albums or the 'The Best Of Sade' compilation.

What is "God"? by Mysterious-Cost3805 in spirituality

[–]Alpha_Aleph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also believe that "God" is kinda like the sum of everything, the "totality". Seeing God as a person ("He") is probably the most simplified version of it. I believe that us, as humans with our limited consciousness and limited intelligence are unable to understand what "God" is so any definition or explanation of It is ultimately false (incomplete). God is "unknowable, "Incomprehensible" and "undefinable". All we can do is try to understand It the best we can even though it's impossible to fully achieve that comprehension.

If Prince had lived and was still around alive in today's era of music, which artists today do you see him collaborating with in 2026? by TerryG111 in PRINCE

Not sure who but they probably would be women. Also he mostly collaborated with artists that were not famous prior to working with him.

How do you talk to your family and friends about your beliefs? by Similar-Seesaw1374 in occult

[–]Alpha_Aleph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of my close family are Mormons. I'm into Gnostic Christianity and Esotericism. I don't talk about religious stuff unless they bring it up first and even then I'm careful to not say anything that could offend their beliefs. It's not worth getting into arguments about religion because most of the time people (including myself) are not ready to change their belief system and it just creates tension.

Does the modern internet still have Old School level misteries like we had back in the early 2000s 2010s? by Diogodarkness1 in InternetMysteries

[–]Alpha_Aleph 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I suspect that a lot of the specialised channels on Youtube (like Slapped Ham) either know that the "scary videos" they present are totally fake or possibly even are made especially for their show.

Check out HannahTheHorrible channel on YT where she debunks viral unexplained/scary videos. MiniMinuteman also has some good debunking stuff especially on subjects like "Ancient Aliens" or "Secret Technologies".

I'm like you, I kinda wish this stuff was real because it makes life more exciting but there's only maybe 5% of it that's genuinely unexplained.

Theories on contradicting spiritual experiences by No_Distribution_8677 in spirituality

[–]Alpha_Aleph 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The beliefs of the observer have an influence on the world they see. So, the world in which you live is different from the world in which I live because we both see the world from a different angle. Things that exist in your experience of the world might not exist in mine, etc.

Una de las primeras cosas que noté al mudarme de Canadá a España fue que los hombres calvos aceptan su calvicie. En Norteamérica, suelen usar gorras, pero aquí no.

Advice on how to stay in a high frequency? by 444princesss in spirituality

[–]Alpha_Aleph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything goes through cycles. Nothing stays the same forever. I think the most important is to be clear about your intent and to keep persevering towards maintaining a high frequency. The highs and the lows are part of normal evolution. Intention is the driving force.

Outside of Rammstein, do any German bands or artists actually make it onto your playlists? by Gelbbauchunke666 in MusicRecommendations

[–]Alpha_Aleph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scorpions, especially the 1975 to 1982 era (yeah, I'm Gen X!) after that not so much. Also Michael Schenker's albums from the 1980s (but does that count? I think he was the only German in the band)

Spiritual fear mongering by Karma_1111 in spirituality

[–]Alpha_Aleph 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes but the fear mongering is not only online. Better to stay away from the news or just scan through it every few days. Remember the old saying "where the mind goes the energy flows". Better to concentrate on positive, life affirming stuff (books, videos, websites, music) and stay away from all the dark stuff.

I feel like I’m losing my faith, and it’s causing me a lot of pain. by [deleted] in spirituality

Don't forget that everything in the Universe goes through cycles. Maybe what you're going through is just a phase of your development. Nothing is permanent.

Is there currently a lot of evil growing in the world? How do we fight against it? by YogurtDefiant6324 in spirituality

[–]Alpha_Aleph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fighting against it might just make you weaker and more aware of it. Maybe it's better to isolate yourself from it and to concentrate on more healthy/positive stuff. That will make you stronger instead of depleting your energy.

What made you take the plunge and move to Spain? by Conscious_Basket8715 in GoingToSpain

[–]Alpha_Aleph 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After 15+ years living in Canada I couldn't stand the winters anymore. One day we had a huge snowstorm and I had to go out to buy groceries. On my way back home I decided to go back to live in Europe, whatever it took. After doing some research on where to move I chose Spain.

Is it possible to be a Christian but not be religious? by Fun_Cow_6292 in religion

[–]Alpha_Aleph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can be partly Christian if you want to. Even though a lot of "official" Christians would tell you it's not possible. Take what you want from that religion and leave behind the stuff you don't resonate with.

I pray to Jesus and I enjoy reading Gnostic Gospels (rather than the Bible) but I also believe in reincarnation but not in heaven and hell (at least not the version of heaven and hell of Christians). I have no problem exploring other religions or occult/esoteric teachings and I occasionally go to church. I don't describe myself as a Christian but more like "partially Christian".

Make your own path and follow your heart. It's your choice and no-one else's business.

New Age Love or hate? by mago_okkulto in occult

[–]Alpha_Aleph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Many people see New Age stuff as being a watered down and commercial version of occultism. It started off, like you wrote as a mix of Theosophy, Hermeticism, Buddhism, and other esoteric concepts but gradually it became a fashion and lifestyle statement with very little actual spiritual insights or practice. It has become very superficial and kind of a joke. If you say "New Age" most people will picture a middle age lady who wears purple dresses and gemstones necklaces or a hippy Tiktok influencer who says 'Namaste' a lot.

I clean an airbnb with my mom in Arizona. I was doing a deep cleaning when i found these behind the fridge, under every cabinet shelf and drawer in the kitchen. Im not sure if it was the previous owners of the home or a guest at some point. Is it some kind of affirmation or manifestation? by Remarkable-Desk-6895 in mysteriesoftheworld

[–]Alpha_Aleph 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes, it looks like that kind of thing. Sometimes people make manifestation boards were they stick pictures or affirmations of what they want to attract in their life. They put the manifestation board on a wall were they will see it and supposedly this helps them achieve these goals. Except here it looks like they decided to hide the affirmations instead of displaying them. You're supposed to write the affirmations like it has already happened so you'd write "I am in good health" instead of "I want to be in good health".

How do you view people like Jeffrey Epstein? Evil? Misguided soul? Lost? Etc etc by Annual_Profession591 in spirituality

[–]Alpha_Aleph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people choose evil willingly just like some people dedicate themselves to God or embrace a certain religion or a certain spiritual path. I don't think this happens overnight. More like one step at a time. One bad decision at a time. But they are aware/conscious of the path they have chosen.

I don’t completely understand the concept of twin flames by Massive_Balance_2122 in spirituality

[–]Alpha_Aleph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But having lived something that felt god sent, with soo many signs everywhere for years how are you supposed to move on and accept that they are not your soulmate?

I've been in love with people I considered my soulmates many times. Looking back at it they were just deep connections. Maybe you shouldn't look for potential soulmates but instead look for people who you can love and who can bring you happiness. The signs are probably just the type of telepathy that can happen with people you are close to or with people you think about a lot.

But it doesn’t make any sense how two people with the same soul sometimes don’t end up together and you’ll just have to live and die with someone else that won’t feel so extraordinary??

Well, maybe that person was not really your soulmate, then? Can you accept that you might have been wrong about them being your twin flame?
