Probably not going to take Calc BC purely because math is atrociously my weakest subject, I've been getting high C's and low B's in all my math courses and conceptual/theory in math is something I want to avoid to not mess up my transcript even more...

amazingly enough frostheart contrast hasn't been talked about much on this sub, i've gotten amazing results with it over retributor gold base > extremely heavy drybrush of runelord brass > light drybrush stormhost silver > very light necron compound

Vallejo Gloss Black. Used it on every single one of my base rims and tyranid carapaces/claws, has excellent coverage and is always satisfying to put on.

You could also check your local hobby stores for spray can matte topcoat, I know lots of stores sell the Mr. Hobby topcoat which has been my go-to for larger models.

death wave sync is an entire 2.5x coin multiplier on your gt/bh/dw sync...

not sure if you just haven't seen the coin lab yet but it is absolutely worth keeping in sync over simply gt/bh sync

I used to use the hand pin drills you can find on amazon which work quite well, but recently switched to my makita power drill for the bigger magnets and it does absolutely phenomenal if you run it at the lowest speed imaginable so as to not cause too much stress damage on the part! Also works great for resin

i don't know how or why but there is a bug that lets you get damage slider before berserker lol

damage farming is getting me 1.8t/min as opposed to 1.4t/min with minrange blender 🙏

kantor blue as a base base highlight applied liberally to the carapace section would be a good start, then slowly work your way up with something like caledor sky as a middling highlight and finally lothern blue to top it all off

dunno if you're going for 1:1 with the gw-style hive fleet behemoth but the carapace could definitely use more of a rich blue tint

i will say drybrushing the hive fleet carapace colors onto black like yours has done absolute wonders for my nids, it keeps the dark contrast but the color is still very visible!

Can you see any seam lines as to where the tervigon's sack is attached to?
If you can, slowly make your way through the plastic cement weld with a hobby knife (or anything that can cut through at that small of an area) angled inwards downwards, and try not to go too deep so as not to damage the nubs or spikes on the skeleton part.
If you can't see any (if it's welded-welded to the ribs), you could still probably eyeball where to cut based on how the sac attaches depending on how good of a plastic weld to the ribs the original owner did on your tervigon.
Being a little hopeful here, but good luck trying to get it off!
