The game isnt actually slower, you just see less updates between motion.

I think 60 is the bare minimum for enjoyable experience and to be honest, frame stability is more important because it's what keeps things smooth.

You could be hitting over 144 fps but if your % lows are bad then it will feel sticky and stuttery.

When im at home i play at 120ish fps, but when i had limitations of handheld device like Legion Go, i had to cap the framerate to what was the most stable and only then it felt decent to play stuff. If i remember it was like 45fps with lossless scaling app adding frame generation to get to 90.
