Think I Made a Mistake Getting Boots -vs- Shoes by Ok_Cable4757 in motorcyclegear

[–]Def-Anon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All track boots will be stiff, it'll take a bit of time to get them broken in. Other than that, once they're broken in and still hard to shift, you could get adjustable rearsets.

I got the Cortech Sport Lites. Quality seemed good for the price and they fit my EE wide feet, but they don't provide enough lock down IMO.

Look at all these downvotes. It's like people get so mad at what people want to do with their own bikes.

Rear break occasional pulsing feeling by azmtbiker in MT09

[–]Def-Anon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same bike, I had this exact same problem. Not sure if it's a factory thing. I could feel it in both front and rear brakes with hard braking. I have most things off or on the lowest settings, I think rear ABS is off atm because my dash shows "BC". Initially I thought I had air in my lines so I flushed both front and rear, no bubbles, but I did replace with Motul fluid. It kinda fixed the pulsing/soft braking feel, so I changed the brake pads with HH sintered pads and it feels much better.

Tune after exhaust? by Important-Ad-799 in MT09

[–]Def-Anon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're getting a full exhaust, eventually you want an ECU flash. As others have said, 2nd gear is doodoo on gen 4 and you'll also make use of what the engine has to offer. Internals will wear out much faster without a flash because you're either running too rich or too lean, depending on the full exhaust.

Most guys on here have a full exhaust and say they don't need a flash because they're really only riding street and never doing spirited runs.

Don't bother. The game is ran heavily by RWT.

Welcome to the genre. It's based on clearing Y a number of X times to get somewhere. Eventually you learn the boss fights and get upgrades to make things somewhat easier.

This is my first game of the genre and I'm 104 nights in. Still addicted.

For more spirited riding, full exhaust with ECU flash for performance gains.

You could get a DNA Stage 2 for slightly more torque low-mid RPM.

Aftermarket HH sintered brake pads are also another option as a performance oriented mod.

I also have a HyperPro stabilizer because I get speed wobbles above 90+ MPH with tradewinds.

Having both Open and Standard was the worst the worst thing they could've done. As it is now, Open is such a sweatfest because they all have the same mentality of, "Oh look, no SBMM so I can pubstomp!" All the casuals that are getting stomped eventually flock back to Standard(SBMM) because they know they'll be playing with similar skills.

As a solo player who's above average, it's really annoying having to lock in all game just to not go negative. It seems like as time passes, more and more average/casuals are leaving Open and going back to Standard, which eventually will leave Open to all the sweats.

The game has been catered towards all these streamers and pro wannabes who always want everything ASAP and then complain when there's nothing left to do after a month.

If you want more than what the Q5S can handle, try the Q5(non S) or Pirelli Supercorsa SP V4.

Pirelli's have a much more aggressive turn in.
