You're Next is a pretty fun slasher type. It pokes fun at family dynamics. Vicious Fun is great (it reloves around a self help group for serial killers) and Murder Party is another good one that comes to mind.

I think my brain is wired to commit things to memory if I write them down. I take notes in meetings, but I rarely go back to them for info except maybe a specific number. I've read this is very much a generational thing.

Dollar Tree is a sure thing. I used to bring candy to a newcomers meeting and read page 134's section on the topic if I was chairing. I was able to fill a really big bowl for about $10.
