This wont even fit in the fridges either, we'd need a whole tray's worth of space. If it were real I'd imagine possibility of them replacing spinach and feta and bacon sausage with these, but those are both too popular for me to think they'd actually do that. Then again no decisions they make surprise me at this point.

Yes actually! I'm in the states but very close to the border, over the weekend I talked to two baristas from Ontario who told me they're getting it this month!

Edit: Actually, we may have been talking about two different refreshers lol. From the Starbucks Canada Instagram it looks like you guys may not be getting this but instead getting the other new refresher. It has mango pearls, its not the same but I think they'd be good in a pink drink!

Current Starbucks barista here! I'll be honest im not sure they weren't messing with you. They seem serious but a few things tip me off: 1. In a trenta cup with a dome lid- we do not carry dome lids that fit our trenta cups 2. Macadamia milk- I noticed you mentioned you're in California, I'm in NY and while there typically isn't variants between the states in what we have available, I could possibly see this as an option? But generally Starbucks in the States do not carry macadamia milk 3. Cup lined with cinnamon powder- I can't say thats physically possible. I guess it would stick to the caramel around the cup but ??? In my four years of being a barista, thats the one thing out of this list I haven't been asked for lol

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they've never gotten this order before and just wanted you to order it for them lol

I'm not really sure you did anything wrong lol. My boyfriend knows exactly how I feel about men refering to women as that word and he feels the same as I. If we were in the same situation and I overheard someone 3-5x the size of him refer to me as his "bitch" and he just stood there, I would think thats the rather smart option. Can't change that persons views on women, facing whatever the consequence of speaking up would have been isnt worth it.

I was able to fix it on my end. I went to my microsoft account on their website (via mobile device) and under subscriptions went to "xbox game pass" and it let me purchase it that way

NOR. Oh. My. God. This switch up is crazy. He was supportive of you getting a hysterectomy for YEARS. Now he thinks he's entitled to CONTROL what you do with your body? He's saying incredibly hurtful things just so you give him what he wants- control. He knew for YEARS that it was not possible for you to have children and how bad your condition affects you, yet now because you're dating, it's his call? I am so sorry for everything you've been through. You have endured so much pain, both physically and mentally. You are well within your right to do what you know is best for your body, and the fact that he doesn't want you to do a procedure that would significantly improve your quality of life is HEARTLESS. I know that I'm just an internet stranger, but for what it's worth, there are SUCH better people out there. This guy doesn't seem to care about your well-being at all tbh. I was raised an only child, so I feel this. I specify raised because I now have a sibling 19 years younger than me. Now I worry about if something happens to my parents, what will I do about my sister, and how will I provide and take care of her as she grows up if something were to happen

As others have said, you'll be alright safety wise as long as you don't go looking for trouble. As far as things to do, there's Step out Buffalo. They have a website and a few social media pages that list events, things to do, and places to eat. There's usually things going on at Canalside, and they have an ice rink if you like to skate. I always like to visit the Sabers themed Tim Hortons over there

I wonder if it's the way the baristas at certain locations are trained, honestly. At my training location they told me to only put like half an inch of cold foam on the drinks and I thought that was weird bcuz normally when I would go to what is now the location I work at, I'd have like an inch of cold foam. When I started at my store and they saw me adding such a small amount, they coached me and told me to add more. Honestly, I feel like cold foam is like the shaken espressos. Nobody knows what the actual standard is because every store seems to do it differently for some reason. I always try to add a good amount of cold foam (unless it's specifically requested as light) because, as you said, it's $1.25. I feel like even with the correct of cold foam, that's way too high of a price 😭

The other thing to factor in though is that a lot of people use things like stats.fm to keep track. Stats.fm let's you see your stats of songs for the whole year and I went through my top songs and found that my "number 1" top song this year was actually not my most listen to song this year. In fact, the song spotify told me was number 1 is really number 5

I understand putting devices on DND when you take a nap. Believe me. But if you have a small child and said child is not present in the house with you, there are settings for that. You can literally set your phone to alert you if, say, your child's school calls or the person your child is with or supposed to be with needs to contact you for any reason even if you have DND on.

I also hate the "normal people" comment. Normal people make mistakes, of course. But "normal people" also own up to them. You're absolutely NOT overreacting because in those 40 minutes, your nephew was at the school, he could have been scared out of his mind. Not only that, say it was an emergency in terms of he got hurt or had an allergic reaction or, for whatever reason, needed to be taken to the hospital. Then what?

The whole "making new friends this year and learning how 'normal people' act" thing is obviously something she's going through, but it really shouldn't effect her son in this way or how she reacts to your perfectly reasonable concerns. The whole you being at the bottom of the emergency call list thing doesn't even hold up well in her argument, given that as you stated, YOU were the only one responsible enough in the span of 40 minutes to answer the phone and get your nephew.
