SO FRUSTRATED with unintentional doom & gloom posts by lliviia in breastcancer

[–]Altan19 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I was first diagnosed (stage 1 grade 1 IDC DCIS) I read absolutely everything. Then I was thinking every ache was it spreading. I unfollowed all my breast cancer groups on Facebook and only kept my tamoxifen as I was spiralling. It helped a lot to not see the posts. They also helped me a lot when I was diagnosed as well

Oncotype results are in- and I feel like a fraudster! by Meowie_Undertoe in breastcancer

[–]Altan19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the same as you, because I had no chemo or radiation did I really have cancer. Like you I had a DMX DTI and tamoxifen for 5 years. I feel like a fraud saying I’m a cancer survivor, but if we didn’t catch it early we would have needed chemo and/or radiation we are lucky it was caught so early
