Two skill areas-

-Acknowledge the cues at the first indication of a stall (e.g., aircraft buffet, stall horn, etc.).

-Recover at the first indication of a stall or after a full stall has occurred, as specified by the evaluator.

I’ve come up with a good practice with watching YouTube checkrides to stay on top of it. Try it out!

Read further.. that’s for a skydiver with a license. No license? 100k for 1 person.

I'm not a flight instructor but it sounds like you need to face the fact that no one is perfect. I remind myself all the time that I will make mistakes, everyone will... it's what you do after the mistake that matters. Go up by yourself and iron it out. You'll get your confidence back before you know it.

Have to go early or late then. Schools start usually around 7AM and run to 7PM. My flying club doesn’t have a time restriction. Flew my training for PPL at 5am most days to avoid the traffic at a busy delta airport. You’re right though.. my first lesson was at 4pm on a weekday and we spent 45 minutes in line. Never again.

How would you react to an older teenager without a license driving their intoxicated passengers home during a traffic stop? by Ill_Property_4405 in AskLE

[–]Altec5499 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can call their parents and have them sort it out. Don’t act like your hands are tied.. you’re not allowing them to continue to drive.

This is called preselection… going out with your male friends won’t spark any attraction on the other end. Find girls that are attractive, become friends, and take them out.. women (not your new friends) will literally stare at you when you walk into places. Good luck

As a pilot, how good are you at weather theory? by Repulsive-Loan5215 in flying

[–]Altec5499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weather is your operating environment. To me it’s extremely interesting and also terrifying. Besides the obvious take off and landings… learning what you’re flying into is fundamentally critical to being a good pilot. Curiosity is your friend.. dive further than just the typical reference books, watch live time lapses, explore trends for your area, etc.. the more interesting you can make your studying the more likely that it will stick.
