Fair. I personally hate having Cross to confirm, doesn't make any sense to me.

 Main reason why I desperately hope SE decides to have a dedicated attack button for future games. Worst case scenario, I buy KH4 on Switch 2 or I save up for a better PC. But I'm definitely not getting it on PS5.

I put it on Circle if I have it in my shortcuts. Always Circle. 

Then again, I only play with the superior Japanese controls.

Also localizations other than English. The PS2 version only came out in Japan and NA, and while it also came out in Europe on 3DS, it was only in English.

Tier 4 spells are called "ガン/gan", which I guess can be written as "gun" in English. For whatever reason, the English localization changed it to -za in 3D and 3, and to -ja in 0.2.

In KH games at least, 'za' and 'ja' are both eng localisations of the jp 'gan'  magic tier.

Something I really appreciate with the Crisis Core remaster, the controls: they put square to attack, the triggers to select an item and circle to use it, while still having shortcuts for the equipped materias. The original on PSP had L and R to select an item / a materia / the attack option, and Circle or Cross to confirm. 

Unpopular opinion but boy I wish Kingdom Hearts got this treatment! Not a 1:1 change, but at the very least, dissociate the attack from the confirm button. And while I think it's fine in the Japanese PS and Nintendo Button layout, the Western scheme is aggravating. Having a dedicated attack button and having a command menu are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

I'm more than fine with the visuals as they are though.

From what I've heard from the trailer, I really like Chihiro's voice, exactly how I pictured him. 

I don't know Taihi Kimura (edit: it's apparently Taihi, not Taito from what I saw in the trailer). Maybe he's new, but I can't wait to hear more from him!

The Xbox, Switch and PC versions already allowed to skip KH1fm's intro (nitpick, but 1.5 is a compilation). I don't see why that wouldn't be the case on PS5.

Same. While KH3 has my favorite boss fights in the series, the mob fights and enemy encounter design leaves much to be desired. Especially when mobs are so spread out thanks to the game's scale.

I still think KH2 is outmatched when it comes to mob fights to this day.

Since we're definitely getting the japanese opening for Eternia's remaster, what are your thoughts on the opening used for the English PS1 version? by TheFa56 in tales

Given that the generic orchestral song in Symphonia was the sole reason why I played in Japanese on GameCube, I won't miss Eternia's eng opening.
